Although gold is worthless, you can make a ton of money by selling
potions. You should add the skill to your game. Eat one of each
ingredient to find out what the initial purpose is and build your
alchemy skill. To keep from getting too encumbered, you should use
the potions frequently. One thing I didn't find out until late in the
game was that the same type potions has more than one recipe.
Making a dragon weak to poison and then hitting them with a poison
sword will take them out pretty fast. "Damage stamina" and "slow"
are also useful in taking down a dragon.
There is a set of tall rocks due South of Meko's hut that is due South
of Solitude. The rocks have something interesting going on every time
I visit there. The road between Meko's hut and the rock set is a good
place to find dragons.
I am playing the game over on a higher skill level just to see how
useful potions can be.
