The other day I downloaded the DNF video from 1998. 5 years ago it would
have appeared to be fantasitc, cutting-edge technology! Even today it
wouldn't be that bad. So why don't they release LameDukeForever. Obviously
they have some sort of program that runs. And even charging $5 or so for
some game fragments would be better for them than losing money on the
hyped-up vaporware.

But if not, the 98 version would have been using the old engine; they
went back to the start, using a newer engine.
