Why can nobody find the full version of doom for free? Its quite easy
to get it without a torrent or limewire.

Just google ZDoom and a WAD file like doom2.wad and youll get what you
want, cause ZDoom is an unnoficial WAD launcher for doom, it is free.
Also DS Doom is a free launcher for the DS.

The wad ares pretty easy to get too, just make sure there officiall
and not some edit, aand im sick of people saying "buy the game". Yes,
I did buy it, but some people need to use there money to live, and Im
sure half of you didnt buy it either, and I dont wont any replies
about that. Im just trying to make sure people get a great game.

Oh, and I forgot. You can find the official DOOM2 WAD and others here
for free : http://sublimis.sytes.net/zdoom/wads/

and I think its a good thing that this is avalible, since doom wont be
around for much longer with the next gen around the corner.

/me checks Steam...

Doom (Ultimate), Doom II, Final Doom each availiable for 9.99 of those
funny dollar thingies.

Or you could pay 69.99 of those little buggers (~40 in real money) and
get (takes a deep breath..)

Commander Keen (If they are selling this on Steam, then there no chance
that Doom will dissapear)
Wolfenstein 3D
Spear of Destiny
Ultimate Doom
Doom II
Final Doom
Doom II Master Levels
Doom3
Doom3 Ressurection od Evil
Quake
Both the Quake Mission Packs
Quake II
Both the Quake II Mission Packs
Quake III Arena
Quake III Team Arena
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Heretic
The two HeXens
HeXen II

I can't speak for most of these games but it has been proven that the
Steam versions of Doom can be used with the various source ports. Hell,
zDoom even automatically detects if you have the Steam version installed
and uses that without any buggering around.

Ok, but im talking about Doom for free, which ZDoom can load them all
just fine with all their original capabilities and more, like changing
multiplayer color. Just follow the link and instructions in my above
artical.

You wont need to pay any "dollar thingys" (Euros), XD.

I fixed your post there. Anyhoow, zDoom may be free but like DarkPlaces
for Quake and eDuke for DN3D the original data files needed to make
these free game engines (not 'wad launchers') are still being sold for
money. That completely strips them of any kind of 'abandonware' status
and what you are going on about here is plain piracy.

But, if you realy want Doom for free then go here:
http://freedoom.sourceforge.net/

Is that free enough for ya?

ZDoom does not require any other files then the WAD, and yes, it is a
wad launcher, I checked the website to confirm.

It can play all 3 dooms, Ultimate, Normal and Hell on Earth along with
Custom WADs like usimpdoom.

It supports mouse control and other things the Doom95 launcher cant.

ALOT BETTER THEN DOWNLOADING THE GAME DATA!!! And its free.

It also smaller then the original doom, which gives you more hard disk
space and all three games.

And it is 100% free, have you even read up on it before you contridict
me Hojo Norem?

I am a big fan of doom, trust me.

AND I dont care about your "plain piracy" shit.

Limewire is plainpiracy, we all download songs. Doom is a classic and
like I said, it wont be along much longer.

And btw, no files from any other game are used to run ZDoom, it is
porgrammed with original files, same with DS Doom. I dont give a rats
ass if its "plain piracy" like I said. I bet you download songs and
shit all the time too. Just helping people out, so please just
understand that. Tons of people are looking for this.

And I said you can buy it off Steam and I bet theres plenty of copies on
eBay...

Find a PC without any copy of Doom on it, download ZDoom from
www.zdoom.org and try to run that. You wont get very far.

> I dont give a rats ass if its "plain piracy" like I said.

And with that statement, you have just proven what a complete knob you
are.

>I bet you download songs and shit all the time too.

If I have wanted something and it was no longer available to buy new
then yes I have dowloaded the odd album (trying to find a non Bootleg
copy of the first Big-O OST is impossible...). But then again you are
directing accusations at somebody who bothered to register WinRar.

>Just helping people out, so please just understand that.

Oh and that one person who follows your 'advise' and is unlucky enough
to get sued by whatever organisation is doing it's rounds (nothing is
impossible) is realy going to thank you, aren't they?

Oh ya, I forgot the facts you guys are altering.

The doom wads arnt illegal downloads, its like if you download a map
expansion for DN, which is free.
ZDoom is a legal program.

And you wont get "sued" for any of these downloads.

Now let me ask you, are you plain retarted?

I have, in fact. only my classic 98 computer has the original doom on
it. My XP strictly runs it using ZDoom. Just to tell you. And I know
where to get ZDoom, Im smarter at this stuff then you are by far,
apparently. I can send you video if you dont believe it is only on my
xp without the original.
