Playing back old DOOM 2 v1.9 mod demos?

Hello.
Many years ago, I used DOSbox and the old DOOM DOS files to play back
and record demos in my old DOOM 2 mods with their own custom pwads,
DeHackEd (deh), etc.:
http://zimage.com/~ant/antfarm/file...oom/j2doom.html ... They were only
320x240 and blurry. I'd like to do higher resolutions, better graphics
(Doomsday?), etc. Can any of the newer DOOM programs do this?

For playing demos PrBoom is best.
