What I tend to do when I get new rigs whose OSes no longer support old
games, is I run a Windows 2000 or XP VM through VirtualBox. Reduces
performance somewhat but with old games that's not really an issue. It's
the only way I can run the original Age of Empires or the early Tomb
Raiders, for example
The Diablos all seem to work fine on Win7 x64 though, which is
interesting given the sheer age of the first game!
