Her Jabbiness is now level 24 and rising frighteningly in proficiency,
courtesy of a low-end rare Maiden Spear that nonetheless boosted her
damage significantly over the gemmed Spetum she was previously using. It
was dropped by some nameless beastie in one of the False Tombs and that,
plus a fortuitous Cathan's Ring and Cleg's gloves, helped push her past
Duriel with the aid of four fat purples.
Onward into the jungles she stormed, intent on getting past them at
breakneck speed. This she did, although Alkor sneakily took all of her
gold in exchange for, well, not very much really unless you count a +8%
poison resist belt.
She did however find a nice 8% to All Resists ammy which gave her a good
boost past the Flayers and their mad Shamen. She charged down through
the Flayer Dungeon, fighting only that which barred her way, collected
the brain, ran like hell through the rest of the jungle and found
herself at the Lower Kurast waypoint in time for tea and biscuits.
No-one and nothing dropped anything better than an Eld rune in the process.
