Hi folks,

anyone still around that remembers an old Kiwi?

Just stumbled over a LoD CD whilst tidying up ready for a move, so
dropped it in the platter and joined the agd game. Had a quick chat
with someone who didn't know me.

Anyway, you might see me around from time to time again.

Cheers,
Mad'Doug.

Cheers, Doug! Nope, who the h*ll are you? You might see me around
BNet, also, if you're on Tuesday mornings, US time. That's maintenance
day in that "other game" ("The Dark Side")) that I and a bunch of the
old crowd are currently playing ;-)

Hello Duncan,

Long time no typee. I hope you and yours are doing well.

I'm not at UC any more, but running a small photography business with the
wife (probably the gf last time you and I chatted--we ran away to Kauai and
got married).

I am often to be found in the hc games.

Cheers,
Mark.

Nope, although I'm tending to shorten it these days ;-) Main toon's
name in WoW is "Sisald", most of the others have that somewhere in
their name.

Thanks, I'd lost that one through changing comps and browsers (several
times), got it bookmarked again now ;-)

Eloped? Hell, if you're going to be stupid enough to get married (as
I have been for ages now), you may as well do it in style! How goes
the photography business!?

HC? dunno if I've got the gumption to do that... still get a bit of
lag every now and again here at the end of time (or is it the start!?)

So I get an itch to dust off V&K Hellfire and pay the Crypt a visit.
Everything goes swimmingly until Raymond's trainer thinks I'm running
Diablo shareware and refuses to restore the characters and items that
had been painstakingly archived all those years ago. Hmm, maybe good
ol' AGD will have a clue. No such luck but imagine the surprise at
finding the usual suspects still posting and playing together!

I did more lurking than participating back in the day but maybe
someone will remember me. Warm greetings, old-timers of AGD. It does
these old eyes good to see familiar names in here.

"Lost" my Sorc8 yesterday due to lag in the Underground Passage....
bad timing whilst clobbering a boss and her minions. So, not so much
afraid as concerned about lost investment (given I have so little time
to play games nowadays - below).

> I seem to remember there was a kilt involved in your wedding, no?

That picture was actually at a friends wedding over 10 years ago now
where I was grooms-man. Slightly more orthodox for my wedding. A
marriage that has subsequently produced 2 "lovely" daughters which
consume a fair amount of my non-working time. Or was that tymme....
or thyme.... *nyeh* *nyeh* *nyeh* told you so Ald!!

Maybe we should get one of those! A president I mean. Soon to be
replaced (election Nov 8) Prime Minister here... and she's a socialist
hippy.

Hello, Mark! Raymond's probably doesn't like to run inside VMware so
I'll likely start fresh or drag an old computer out of storage just
for Windows 98.

If you're still in the same area as the Diablo days and can use a
photography assistant for a weekend here and there, drop me a line.
Will work for coffee :)

I'm sortof around. I played quite a bit during the summer (winter to

time to play.

It is good to hear from you again!
