I found it easier to killfile said idiot myself; he was doing my
stress levels no good, so it felt better to read his posts via other
people's quotes and know that they already said what I'd have said
myself! I thought *I* was stubborn lol, at least I can usually admit
when someone else's point of view may have some merit, especially when
they have facts and figures to back it up...

Good to see you ;-) And (pedantic mode) it wasn't the spam that was
the problem, it was the trolls, but they do seem to have finally left
us alone ;-)

I haven't taken that step yet, although I probably should and he
certainly merits it, more skipping by his posts manually at this
point.

I used mark as read so I can read the threads where he's being
reasonable. I don't get it tbh, he's reasonable and intelligent some
of the time then totally unbalanced the rest of it, seems to have a
great hatred for a certain other game, and thinks everything he
dislikes in D3 comes from that, even when told otherwise by people who
actually play both.

Looked at D3 in EA games.
Haven't installed D2 in don't know how long, or played the other game in longer.
