Diablo2 LoD question

So I finished Diablo 2 single player the other night, and then decided
I wanted to buy the LoD expansion and play that in single-player mode.
So I get the expansion, install it, open diablo 2, convert my
character, but then when I start the game, I am back at the Rogue
Encampment. I can ask Warriv to take me East, but how to I go directly
to the new content for LoD?
Please help: this seemingly simple question has been bugging me!

The new content is Act 5. Perhaps you can talk to Tyrael in Act 4, and he
might open the portal to Act 5?
Otherwise you might have to kill Diablo once again, to get to Act 5.
You also said you finished the game. Did you mean you finished it in
Normal (with Nightmare and Hell difficulty still left to do), or did you
mean you finished it all the way up to Act 4 Hell?

You'd want to use the way point in the Rogue Camp to go to Act 4 then
talk to Tyreal. He should give you the option to move onto act 5.
Though seeing as you'd only just then updated to LoD, there could be
funky stuff going on. Killing Diablo again would likely fix things
though. And he might drop something good this time too! ; )

If all that fails then you could always play through again...
...or use a saved-game editor like Jamella's HeroEditor to "fix" the
save-game file and open Act5.
