Just got a new PC with Vista. This is the first PC I've had with a good
graphics card so I was thinking I'd like to get back into Descent.

Sure, check on http://www.descentbb.net forums, and
http://www.planetdescent.com The latter has a server tracker and the dbb
probably does too. I'm playing through D2 now and having great fun. There
are still people on kali also, though I haven't noticed active games lately.
