I am new to C2 (never had C1)...my mernorm is still a child, but he keep
feeling pain and I don't know why, also he suffocates, either in the
water or on land. Any idea what I am doing wrong or how to help him? And
i have all the kits now,science,etc, but no clue what to do with them!

Check if the mernorn's lungs are working. With the science kit, it should be
the first tab. check the organ list, if the two lungs seem to look normal
(like most everything else, no red stuff) then I have no idea. If it dosn't,
check the health kit. Go to the tab where you see the "X-ray" image of the
norn's heart, lungs, etc. If the lungs are not there, then give up. if the
lunds just dont work, or even look normal, ingect some deflibrant or
metabolisim transplant with the science kit.

It is Mernorn not Mernorm. A common misconception made by newbies.
