I must apologize for not listing the origin of the 'Grand Lodges of the World'
website link (http://www.bessel.org/gls.htm) that I posted.

The website was created and maintained by Paul M. Bessel
{besse...@verizon.org}. The link was posted on soc.org.freemasonry on June
6, 2001, under the thread "US Grand Lodges".

My statement about over "300 Grand Lodges in the United States" was based off a
statement made by Mike Wells, Normal #673 AF&AM Illinois {mgwb...@fgi.net},
within the "US Grand Lodges" thread on soc.org.freemasonry on June 6, 2001.

I am only stating these facts since Fellowcraft Fruge is new and ignorant about
Freemasonry. He derides and ridicules anything I have to say since in his
Masonic infancy he considers me a "clandestine" Mason.

S & F,

J.D. Kukenbaker, 33*
Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of North America

OK, so you have been reading this NG for several weeks, picked up a few bits of
information and now try to give it back with the authority of a MM. Nice try
kid, but you still have not convinced me!

You then berate Jason with the following:

>I am only stating these facts since Fellowcraft Fruge is new and ignorant

>Freemasonry. He derides and ridicules anything I have to say since in his

Actually, neither Jason nor I consider you a clandestine Mason, we don't
consider you to be any sort of Mason. Come on now "closed down my website
because of heavy traffic" Your remailer was false to begin with because it was
closed before anyone could respond.

But, thanks for the humor, after all, everyone who reads your posts are having
a good laugh. Keep up the good work, a little humor during the day is like a
breath of fresh air.

And which *regular* (if not recognised) Grand Lodge is "the Grand Lodge
of Freemasons of North America"?

I can't even find it in Bro. Bessel's list, or the UGLE Yearbook.

Though Harsh Jason Fruge's reasoning and actions are correct concerning Masonic
Law and the Methodical Digest in much if not all of our jurisdictions. In
fact--conversing with Clandestine Kukenbaker on Masonic business could be
prosecuted as a Masonic Offense.

Dear "MW Bro." Kukenbaker,

While I am very familiar with the great work Bro. Bessel does for the Craft
as a master statistician and records-keeper, I would like to receive further
Light from you regarding the GL of Freemasons of No. America.

Where is your GL based? Who is in your Grand Line? How many lodges are
constituted by your GL? Can you tell us where some of them are located?

Do you support charitable endeavors? If so, what are they? Are your
members active in civic events [town fairs, parades, etc.] under the banner
of Freemasonry? Are they otherwise known by their neighbors as Masons?

What is the history and nature of your ritual? Is it Preston-Webb or
Scottish Rite, etc.? How did you come about receiving the 33rd Degree? Who
conferred it upon you?

Does your GL adhere to any of the Landmarks? If so, which ones?

What do your aprons look like?

"Most Worshipful Sir," I couldn't help but notice that you call Bro. FC
Fruge "ignorant," and that is what tells me you are NOT what you claim to
be. Even the youngest Entered Apprentice knows it is better to enlighten
brethren than to call them names. I get the feeling that you are alone in
your "Masonry," so much the better for the rest of us in light of your
"ideas" on McVeigh.

Furthermore, by Bro. Bessel's own description of his list of GLs, it is
clear that he includes GLs of all kinds, and that inclusion on the list
neither endorses nor legitimizes any Grand Lodge. At any rate, I don't see
your "Grand Lodge of Freemasons of North America" on the list.

To those brethren who are new to the Craft and seek further Light on the
web, you'd be wise to forget these newsgroups. Between the spam,
anti-Masonic gibberish and conspiracy theories, you'll soon be
disillusioned. Find your Grand Lodge's website and learn if there is a
list, like a YahooGroup, for your jurisdiction. If not, go to YahooGroups
and choose from among dozens of other lists. If you need help, feel free to
write to me directly.
