Hi Guys,
In an effort to (better) learn Painter I've been working through the
Painter 4 Wow book and attempting to duplicate some of the images I like.
I love the work Dennis Orlando creates and have attempted to "copy" his
Chair with Tulip Tree Flowers that is on P 67 of that book. I've put my
version up at:

http://www.kacweb.com/kachome/image.htm

if you're interested.

(I hope I didn't post this twice -- I had some trouble getting it posted)

Happy Thanksgiving and Best Wishes to all,

Nice one, Kenny.

Question: do you use a tablet? Only ask because I'm finding freehand
drawing something of a pain using the mouse.

I think you did a good job, I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the book
you are working
through. Good Idea especially if they explain there own techniques in the
book.

I wouldn't even try freehand computer drawing any other way than with a
tablet (wacom) (except maybe scanning it in <G>) -- that's what the
church pic is -- pencil drawing, scanned in most of the others were done
with painter.

There are some exercise that go step by step, but this one and the one's
I'm working on are in the "gallery" section of each chapter and it just
gives high level info (this one for instance said he used Artist Pastel
Chalk with increased color variability and Total Oil variant of the water
brush)
Thanks,
Best Wishes,
