George Sumner Original Oil Painting - "Kauai Falls"
This is the original oil painting entitled "Kauai Falls" painted by
George Sumner, the famous California/Hawaii environmental -
impressionist painter /artist, in 1986. The painting is
48" high by 38" wide, matted with black cloth and mounted
in a gorgeous koa wood frame, and is in perfect condition.
It includes a custom made shipping crate, and authenticating
documentation from the gallery of purchase (Kahn Galleries,
Kauai, Hawaii) plus recent appraisal from Mr. Sumner's
gallery in Sausalito, California.
The painting depicts a waterfall spilling to the sea on the
Na Pali coast of the island of Kauai, with predominant shades
of blue and green. The paintings of George Sumner are
well-known, and are owned by many famous people, including
Graham Nash (of CSN), Alan Parsons, Sylvestor Stallone,
Mohammed Ali, Ted Turner, Neil Diamond, NASA Space Flight
Center and were also shown on the set of the TV series,
"Magnum P.I.".
