hello my parents are having problems with there 89 ea ford fairmont ghia
station wagon

seems there lossing power and when that leave the car over night and
sometimes during the day between stops that they need to get a jump start
the battery is in good con so racq said when they checked it but jump
starting it all the time is starting to been a pain in the arse
i think there maybe be some lose wires or something but can anyone think of
anything a
and when the car is in park i could get the revs up but when i took it for a
drive and planted the foot the revs stayed between 1 and 2 and didn't get
any higher ??
any ideas what the problem could be

got a new one too in my EA after i found it to have flat spots during
acceleration, inspected the cable, noticed it was cracked in 4 places,
whacked a new one in.

only slightly fixed the problem... took her into my mechanics and one of my
leads wasn't firing... goes hard now! hehe...
