LDPE and cooking oils

There are common plastic squeeze bottles for condiments and oils. They are
all apparently LDPE. The bottles that cooking oil comes in are PETE.
Wikipedia says LDPE gets a 'minor attack' from cooking oils. It doesn't say
for PETE.

How long can LDPE bottles hold cooking oils before they leach toxic levels
of anything?
