Middle East terrorists murdered the United States Ambassador to Libya
Christopher Stevens and three other Americans yesterday in Benghazi.
Conflicting reports have surfaced concerning the exact methods utilized
to perpetrate this egregious act. Obama with his usual apologetic style
initiated his response to this tragedy noting he rejects any denigration
of others religious beliefs but there is no justification for this
assault on Americans or American values. Amazing as it may be Obama and
his minions were apologizing for a movie the terrorists claim was
offensive to their religion and produced in the United States. The
latter statement has not been verified, yet knowing Obama his
irrationality has room for the sensitivities of terrorists not for the
America that gave him his present pulpit. Most recently Obama turned
down a request by Israel’s Prime Minister for a meeting in New York City
where the United Nations General Assembly is meeting. Violence is
flaring up across the Middle East and Israel has a set of concerns which
apparently are not shared by Obama. The reason given for the rejection
was scheduling problems believe it or not. Obama was scheduling himself
to be on Letterman and had no time for affairs of state. After a public
outrage from coast to coast ensued Obama took time out of his busy
campaign schedule and connected with Israel’s top leader by phone.
Whatever transpired in their exchange Obama probably yawned and went
back to his leaderless role. With an embassy in Egypt and a consulate in
Libya assaulted in a very short time these events appear more than a
coincidence. Actions such as these could be a prelude to more organize
events coming in the near future which could put other Americans at
risk. Obama’s team is already moving to cover the terrorists’ tracks by
stating these are isolated events and we will not abandon our “Middle
East Friends.” Hillary Clinton still plans to write billion dollar
checks to these two countries harboring terrorists.
Can we stop sending our _enemies_ aid?

to Medicare Advantage so seniors don’t lose coverage before the election.
But certain voters would surely notice one highly painful part of the
law before then — namely, the way it guts the popular Medicare Advantage
program.
For years, 12 million seniors have relied on these policies, a more
market-oriented alternative to traditional Medicare, without the
aggravating gaps in coverage.
But as part of its hundreds of billions in Medicare cuts, the Obama
one-size-fits-all plan slashes reimbursement rates for Medicare
Advantage starting next year — herding many seniors back into the
government-run program.
Under federal “open-enrollment” guidelines, seniors must pick their
Medicare coverage program for next year by the end of this year — which
means they should be finding out before Election Day.
Nothing is more politically volatile than monkeying with the health
insurance of seniors, who aren’t too keen on confusing upheavals in
their health care and are the most diligent voters in the land. This
could make the Tea Party look like a tea party.
Making matters even more politically dangerous for Obama is that open
enrollment begins Oct. 15, less than three weeks before voters go to the
polls.
It’s hard to imagine a bigger electoral disaster for a president than
seniors in crucial states like Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio
discovering that he’s taken away their beloved Medicare Advantage just
weeks before an election.
This political ticking time bomb could become the biggest “October
Surprise” in US political history.
But the administration’s devised a way to postpone the pain one more
year, getting Obama past his last election; it plans to spend $8 billion
to temporarily restore Medicare Advantage funds so that seniors in key
markets don’t lose their trusted insurance program in the middle of
Obama’s re-election bid.
The money is to come from funds that Health and Human Services is
allowed to use for “demonstration projects.” But to make it legal, HHS
has to pretend that it’s doing an “experiment” to study the effect of

Obama Health Care Reform Act gave the hospital a one-two punch. While
more people may soon get more health coverage, Obama's plan cuts
reimbursement dollars for hospitals at a time administrators say they
could use them most."
Obamacare includes $575 billion in cuts to Medicare to pay for a
Medicaid expansion and a new entitlement program, which will provide
generous subsidies for middle-class Americans to buy insurance. The cuts
include slashes to hospitals' reimbursement rates.
Of course, cutting reimbursement rates is bound to have an effect on
hospital operations. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Chief
Actuary Richard Foster reports:
"[P]ayment update reductions will create a strong incentive for
providers to maximize efficiency, [but] it is doubtful that many will be
able to improve their own productivity to the degree achieved by the
economy at large."
"[P]roviders for whom Medicare constitutes a substantive portion of
their business could find it difficult to remain profitable and, absent
legislative intervention, might end their participation in the program
(possibly jeopardizing access to care for beneficiaries). Simulations by
the Office of the Actuary suggest that roughly 15 percent of Part A
providers would become unprofitable within the 10-year projection period
as a result of the productivity adjustments."
Health providers dropping Medicare patients is the worst case scenario,
especially in light of the flood of baby boomers set to retire and join
Medicare. For now, many hospitals are preparing for revenue cuts as best
they can. For Memorial Hospital, this means reducing the work force. "We
expect that reality to get worse moving forward,"the health facility said.
Obamacare is projected to insure 34 million more Americans by 2019. But
by 2015, the nation will face a physician shortage of 63,000 doctors
across all specialties, up from 39,600 before the law passed. The last
thing the U.S. health care system needs is "reform" that encourages a
reduction in its work force.
