Er, the term is *scarfing,* Hemingway, not "scoffing."

You put me in mind of the graffiti spray-painted by
pubescent illiterates that I used to see, touting
the benefits of "sess bud."

What they were referring to, of course, was *sinse*
bud. "Sinse" as in "sinsemilla" -- "without seed,"
in the original Spanish. But being as ignorant as
posts, none of them had ever seen the term in print,
and so they had no idea how to friggin' spell it.

(Some of them may have even been Mexican, in which
case they *definitely* had no idea how to friggin'
spell it.)

Then let them butcher those sacred cows they worship, and
make Big Macs and Quarter Pounders out of them.

How did India's failure to develop as a civilization get
to be *my* problem? It isn't as though the dot-headed
sonsabitches haven't had enough time to get their act
together. Christ, they've been trudging around on this
spinning ball of dirt for longer than we Western European
civilizations have.

The problem with you liberals...well, one of them, anyway
...is that you assume everybody else is as vulnerable to
guilt-tripping and groupthink as *you* are.

That's why, for instance, I'm assured of having a lifetime
supply of self-adhesive return address labels. I get mail
regularly from bleeding-heart, left-wing causes in which
they plead for contributions -- and include a couple of
pages of pre-printed, self-sticking return address labels,
in the hope of guilting me into sending money in return
for this gift that I never expected and certainly never
asked for.
