I am currently watching my weight, and eating low fat. Are there any others out there that are doing the same and would like to trade or offer any low fat ideas, diet ideas, walking tips, excercise routines, etc.
I would love to hear from you.

I am currently watching my weight and eating low fat/low calorie too. I walk 2 miles every morning in about 40 minutes to help lose the pounds. So far so good.
I am kind of working on dieting -- I have about 30# to go, having recently lost 10# by walking 1 mile every day for 2 weeks. (This is a definite increase in exercise from NOTHING! :) ) And the walking has increased my metabolism, so I need less food to fill me up.
I have been on Weight Watchers before, so have tons of recipes at my disposal, and am more than happy to share support and experiences. Feel free to email me when something's not going right, or motivation is low. I know other women who are in the same situation as us; maybe we could get a small e-support group together?!
My name is Angie Pedersen, I'm 25, and live in St. Louis with my husband of 3 years, and our 2y.o. son.

I too would like to form a discussion/support group! I have about 50lbs to lose, and have found it difficult to get started. I'm 27 years old, have been married for 3 years, no kids. I moved to State College, PA a year ago to go to grad school, and have found it much harder to eat low fat here than in my native Dallas -- this is the land of the Cheesesteak!!
My husband is very supportive of my efforts, but he doesn't really understand (being that he has supersonic metabolism and iron willpower). Also, almost all the people I know here (there aren't that many) are fit and thin, and constantly complain about their bodies -- as if they have anything to bitch about!
Anyway, I came online to this newsgroup hoping to find some support and motivation. :-)
My name is Deborah and I'm from the UK. Like you, I have some weight to lose about 20-25 pounds. I'm getting married in six weeks so I'd like to have 10 pounds off by then. I'd be interested in sharing recipes with you and also a bit of email support when times get hard ;-)
I've been lurking around alt.food.low-fat for about a month now. I'm hoping to pick up a few tips on how to reduce the fat in the food I eat. I have a problem in that the man I'm marrying is a BIG meat eater - a real carnivore - doesn't believe he's had a meal if there's no meat in it. So really I'm looking for ways of reducing the amount of fat eaten and low fat ways of cooking meaty meals - although I'm very keen on vegetarian food as well. I'm posting this as well as mailing it so if anyone here on alt.food.low-fat has any ideas, they'd be much appreciated.

Howdy, I am William, and from what I read above, you guys are doing the right thing to lose weight. However, that will take a fair bit of time to accomplish. My friend Jenny, has lost 10 kilos in around 1&1/2 months. She was using some kind of Cellular Nutrition Weight Management Program. And she told me that her constant fatigue, and acne problems have been cleared out as well during that weight loss program. She says that the products that she used were all herbal based, so, it cleanses the toxins in the body, and with the help of micro-organisms from the herbs. It actually speeds up her metabolism and mental awareness. I have not got any weight problems, but I am doing body building. I bought some products from Jenny (same one she used for weight lose), I lost 5% body fat in 30 days as well as gaining 2 kilo of muscle mass. I just had to tell you about this amazing products, since you guys are trying so hard to lose weight. So you want to know where to buy them from, e-mail me, and I'll ask Jenny about it, and I will let you know, they have this product all around the world. My e-mail address is: bil...@uuscss.cs.su.oz.au Wish you good luck in weight losing. William Life Is Short, Play Hard... Well, what the hell, I don't Care :->
