Hey there!

First of all, I hope there are actually still people around here. Spam
bots destroy the whole forum experience for everyone. :-(

Anyway, it's one year ago that I finally decided to take drastic
changes to my life style. I work as a consultant, mostly in-house. But
then a project came up where I had to go to a future client to present
our company..

I still remember how horrible I felt when I looked at myself in my
fine clothes. I woke up to the fact that I was FAT. My ego was
destroyed and I screwed up (sorry) the presentation for the client
because of my sudden lack of self-confidence. I couldn't stop myself
from crying and beating up myself.

When I relaxed and calmed down I decided something had to change - *I*
had to change! I have a life to live and only I can decide how I'm
going to live it.

When did you people decide to lose weight? What triggered your
decision and how do you keep your spirits up? I want to collect a
number of motivation tips and self-confidence boosting quotes to help
others not to give up. For that reason I started one of those blogs:

http://proven-fitness-tips.blogspot.com/

I think if everyone works together we can beat obesity. To me it's all
about going back to the roots, going natural, and stop eating crap.
How ironic is it? In one advertising they promise us a magic bullet to
finally lose weight and in the next one they encourage us to eat junk
food.

Looking forward to hear your stories!
