Or that the sort of people most likely to have high BMI proportions
(that is, lower- and lower-middle-class people, who are often ignorant
when it comes to nutrition) tend to live in the sorts of places where
fast-food restaurants are most likely to be found: locales where
housing is relatively inexpensive. East San Jose comes to mind.
