Driving around for a while yesterday, my husband got hungry. We wound up
right next to a Wendy's, so we pulled up and he ordered the BaconatorT. Two
beef patties, cheese, and bacon on a sesame seeded Kaiser roll with mayo and
ketchup - no lettuce or tomato come with it. I think the total came to
about $4.66 for just the sandwich. He tried to eat while he was driving
with gobs of grease dripping down his hand to his arm. Of course, me being
a woman, attempted to hand him a napkin, but he would have none of that and
claimed that he'd clean up after he finished his sandwich; no need dirtying
his only given napkin while he was still eating. I guess it's a hillbilly
thing?

Anyway, he devoured the burger within less than 5 minutes and said it wasn't
too bad.

On the negative, the sandwich had paper-thin bacon and TFM® said the only
reason he knew bacon was on there was because it all pulled out on his first
bite.

So, if you want a really greasy, messy, meaty sandwich, consider the
BaconatorT.

Uhhh kili? I hope you just mean that as a figure of speech. But I
haven't tasted it personally so I don't know, but I'm sure it's not
paper-thin.

Might I suggest to your husband that if he wants a burger with $50
dollar-a-slice bacon maybe he should try a gourmet restaurant instead of
Wendy's.

Thanks kili,

Jerry

Uhhh, Jenny? Since you did not eat or even see that particular
sandwich, there is no possible way you could know how thick the bacon
was. So you can't be "sure".

The only place such bacon exists is in your fevered, barely
functioning pea brain.

When he took the bite and all the bacon came out, he pulled a piece from
from his mouth (sounds gross, I know), but he held it up to the light. You
could see through it. You could see perfectly through it. If that's not
paper-thin, I don't know what is.

Yes I can be sure, jn, because there is no such thing as paper-thin
bacon.

Well that would explain all the hardships and sufferings that Steve and
TFM is experiencing reagrding bacon then!!! Maybe someone should invent it
to give them some peace in thier live's.

that wasn't the bacon then. that was Fat. Maybe he just happened to get a
bad sandwich? I'll try one tomorow or tonight maybe and post an unbiased
review about it, and then we can compare it to what TFM had.

Dumbass. I suppose you think that bacon comes off of the pig in the
neat little slices Mommy brings home from the supermarket. Bacon is
made from pork bellies, Jenny. A pork belly is a chunk of meat which
can be sliced to whatever thickness is required or desired. Any one
with a meat slicer or a sharp knife and a modicum of ability (that
leaves you out) can slice bacon paper thin.

YES I AM WELL AWARE OF THAT. BUT YOU CANT SLICE IT PAPER-THIN BECAUSE IT
FALLS APART. AND NOBODY DOES IT ANYWAY, THAT'S WHY YOU WONT FIND IT.

Like I said Ill get one tomorow or tonight and prove you wrong once and for
all.

I have sliced meat paper thin without it falling apart. Evidently you
have no idea what you're babbling about.

Several people have stated here that thy have received "paper thin" or
"see through" bacon on fast food sandwiches recently, so obvously
someone is doing it. By the way, typing in all caps does not make you
right, but it does make you appear rather juvenile.

Are you going to the same location as Kili and TFM ? If not, how do
you suppose that proves that the bacon on TFM's sandwich was not paper
thin? You really should think these things through.

Damn! Your head is *just* as thick and impenetrable as Jerry's was!

If I could get bacon as thick as your skull I'd be happy.

I know what bacon looks like, you stupid mother fucker. I've been eating it
longer than you've been alive. My wife knows what bacon looks like as well.
You're insulting her intelligence with such a moronic claim.

They make bacon that thick. It's called strick-o-lean in the south. Might
near bullet proof. Probably tastes better than Jerry's head to boot.

Maybe it was bacon flavored fat. I'd be curious as to what your Wendy's
serves. They're all different even if they're a chain. Give it a try. Oh,
hold the mayo!

TFM

Get it right, Jerry's a fan of Krispy Kream and knows full well that a dozen
is 13 not 10.

Even if he did get a dozen do you really think their would be any left to
stuff anyway.

Oh and now jerry thinks the standard order for burgers is a dozen, and it's
your fault.

You're starting to sound like the late Jerry, with your pronouncements
of what to hold.

Some of us love mayo. I dip French Fries into it, French- and
Belgian-style.

I also love Tartar sauce, which is, of course, mayo plus some
pickle-like additions.

There are dozens of other variations of mayo, including Hollandaise and
Bearnaise sauces.

Alton Brown did a good show on the making of mayonnaise and the many
variations on it.

There is paper-thin bacon for the same reason there is paper-thin ham,
paper-thin beef, etc. All it takes is a slicer set to the proper number
of mils.

Bacon is the complete deal, the lean part (such as it is) and the fat,
which is part of "bacon."

The bacon probably all comes from the same factory anyway. And fix your
damn newsreader settings for once, I don't have time to keep added indent

Jerry's right here. A sheet of 20# printer paper is about .003
inches. The 'average' human hair is around .004 inches. Good luck
trying to slice ANYTHING that thin. Have fun, surf safe..Cracker

TFM is correct, You are a DUMB MOTHER FUCKER!!

Probably because all bacon comes from the same factory, they have to slice
it paper thin.
The paper thin slices are needed because they would quickly run out of pigs
due to the demand of Bacon burgers.
