I don't go for the Teriyaki with Italian dressing, but the Lodge Hibachi
is the finest tailgating grill around - forget Weber and propane,
nothing tastes like charcoaled Hibachi skewers.

Teriyaki chicken skewers

3/4 lb skinless chicken thighs, cut in 1" chunks
2 Tbsp sake
4 Tbsp soy sauce
4 Tbsp mirin
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp grated ginger
1 Tbsp crushed garlic
1/4 cup peanut oil

Mix ingredients in a bowl.

Pour into ziplock bag.

Marinate the chicken in the mixture in the frig a few hours ahead.

Skewer chicken on flat bamboo sticks (pre-soaked in water to reduce
charring).

Arrange on hot Hibachi and turn every few minutes until done - 6-8 mins.

These will go fast, maybe faster than the next Chef's QB...

Dude, if you want to post on grilling or barbecue, fine. This is the place.
If you want to post about Chiefs on the Chiefs list, that's great.

But get a clue. This recipe doesn't belong on the Chiefs list, and Chiefs
stuff doesn't belong here. There is no connection. (And no "tailgate"
excuse.)

I have a Lodge Sportsman's Grill and I agree. It is the nicest
charcoal grill that I have ever used (or seen in action)

I used to have, back in the day, the old style cast pot metal hibachi
with the wood handled movable grill plates, but those always ended up
breaking at some point. The Lodge is quality to the core. And the draft
mechanism is better also.
