Snopes trolling bags another one?

Our low-cal newspaper gives us the American Profile magazine insert. If
you haven't seen it, think poor man's Parade magazine. Their "Ask
American Profile" column includes a question about Mr. Ed being a zebra.
It doesn't mention snopes, but does say that an internet search found
conflicting evidence.

Since this is one of snopes's TROLL items, I suspect that was the source
of the misinformation.

I've always thought the snopes trolls undermined their credibility, but
apparently they just love a joke.
