Actually quantum mechanics aren't all that hard to understand.

In "The King and I" Yule Brenner (as the king) sang that when he was
young
"things which were, were,
things which were not, were not.
Now somethings nearly are,
and somethings nearly not"

Truly as cogent an explaination of quantum mechanics as I have ever heard.

Even the concept of energy from the vacuum isn't that hard, just remember,
"Embezzlement is perfectly ok, as long as you can get the money back
before the bank examiner shows up."

Let's at least give a great actor the honor of spelling his name right:
Yul Brynner 1915-1985, Acadamy Award for Best Actor, 1956 ("The King and
I").

Oscar Hammerstein would be pleased that his contributions to the
popularization of quantum mechanics have finally been recognized.
