Some Bible facts about Mary contrasted against tradition...

denominational traditions, which are strongly spoken against by God in Mt.15 and elsewhere, deal
with adding to God's Word laws and sins with penalties never found in Holy Scripture. these are
laws of all sorts concocted solely by the various denominations and by decree to be observed by all
those who are members of that particular sect.

for example, it is made a church law and is completely contrary to Holy Scripture that if the
church member fails to go to church on a Sunday then to him it is a mortal sin. should that person
die before confessing and doing penance for that sin he will burn in Purgatory for a time
unspecified by his denomination until that sin is paid for... after he burns enough, is tormented
enough to satisfy what his church fathers think is enough, though they don't put such in print, that
particular sin is remitted... then on to the next unremitted sin and the process starts all over
again.

traditions of all kinds swirl around Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus. all are made up by her
worshipers and are trolled in part from Holy Scripture in order to fetch names, places and events
real or imagined, polished up and set as church law.

but from Holy Scripture we can glean the truth and compare them to these man made traditions and
show these for what they are worth... nothing more than man made concoctions suitable to man's need
to erect a mother deity.

the Bible does not tell us Mary's age when she bore Jesus. however, we can surmise that she was
around 20 years of age. since Mary lived beyond the years of Jesus, who, was crucified around the
age of 34... at the minimum Mary was at least in her mid 50's when these denominations claim she was
taken into heaven without dying.

with that in mind Mary was Jewish, but they make and erect and serve graven images of a Gentile
faced female, supposedly Mary, over their altars. no where in Holy Scripture are altar's called for
as a part of Christianity nor the worship of any man nor woman nor the fabricating likenesses of
what the worshipers want these to look like. they've reworded the First of the Ten Commandments so
as to give themselves permission to make, erect and serve man made mother deities.

their traditions have it that Mary was ' ever virgin... ' never bearing more children than Jesus.
and with that idea they've had to redefine the NT Greek words God used in dictating the Holy
Scriptures when He says in Mk.6 ' brothers ' and ' sisters ' referring to Jesus' immediate family.
Mary's worshipers defy God by redefining ' adelphes' to mean something other than ' out of the same
womb. ' we know ' adelphe ' and ' adelphos ' means ' out of the same " physical " womb ' in these
passages because of how Jesus' actual family is introduced to us in v3. shame on them.

they've countered their own redefinition with a re-redefinition by saying those brothers and
sisters of Jesus spoken of by God in Mk.6:3 refer to the children Joseph had by a previous marriage.
this won't wash at all since Joseph was the rightful king of Israel by being a direct descendant of
King David, and being so would have made Joseph's first born son the next rightful king... not
Jesus, had these brothers been Jesus' half-brothers by Joseph's former marriage.

for these and many, many other reasons we are told by God these are liars and anti-Christs in
1 Jn.2:22. these people desire to be enslaved to a mother deity promoted by their church father's
insisting... " Sinners receive pardon by the intercession of Mary alone"... so said St. John
Chrysostom

" No one ever finds Christ but with and through Mary. Whoever seeks Christ apart from Mary seeks
Him in vain."
