When you see those things in real life it blows you away how tiny they
are! Honestly no larger than a pencil eraser if that big.

Are you sure? I thought that when I first put one out, then I put a
camcorder on my deck to try to see who was eating my tomatoes (the
squirrels). That's when I saw the two hummingbirds. After a while, I
put a remote mike up under the feeder and got some nice videos with
impressive sound.
