Doris, we had my camera set on a tripod and I had 8 seconds to get to the group and an added 2 seconds to pose.....we were saying all sorts of words......"cheese" doesn't hack it anymore and there were some interesting choices! True, that wasn't the only time the laughing and smiling went on either. :-) Marj (CA)

I believe they might have been pastel portraits. They were of Joe and Arlette and their children done some years ago. Meant to take a closer look. Just can't think of everything in so short a time when there is so much to talk about. :-) Marj (CA)

All of MSN's servers were down yesterday until evening. You should try the Earthlink server, it is much more reliable. Just go up to Tools, Accounts, Add, News and add news.earthlink.net , no password required.

MarieAnn, you can't imagine what a great day we had. Thought I would be nervous meeting them for the first time, but wasn't because we were already friends! Will post some more when I get them cut down; they come out 8" x something and the kb's range from 132 to 268 with the settings I'm using on the camera. :-) Marj (CA)

As wonderful a time as we had in July at the Lake with my sisters and brother,and as much as I've always wanted to see County Clare in Ireland some day- If I only had one choice for one 'dream come true 'vacation -it would be to go to a Porch "family" get- together! Hugs, :-) MarieAnn

Guess we'll stick with plan #2; send everybody the money for a new PC. Think we should let the Prune King pick his own machine though? I have a feeling his list is a mile long. Wouldn't want to give up our cruise just so he could have more goodies. Did anybody tell him to be waiting in his yard with a harness on so we can snag him and haul him up to the plane? Never mind, we'll just tell the man to hook his suspenders.

We tried to win the power ball last week. 25 people where Bryan works went together and bought tickets but we didn't win. We had our fingers crossed maybe next time.
