Check out Jeanetta's hat in October 2002. Wow!
And check out the next to the last pic in July 2001!!!
It says "July's Hot!"
Looks like Jeanetta is hot too! LOL
Jeanetta sure is no old bag.
She looks pretty good in July 2002 too.
She's also got a great hat in May 2001 (3rd Pic).
She's a good promotor for the Red Hatters.
I wonder where she gets those fabulous hats.

or so...

Merg,
Have you ever heard the play on words: "Austin-tatious",
before this? I thought that was pretty clever.
I'm wondering if the expression is
"old-hat" down there. <g>
Hope you're managing to stay cool.

Hi, Sea--well, there's a used car lot called "Austintatious Autos" here,
and I think I've seen the word somewhere else as well--I've only been here
two years, so it may have been around for awhile but I wouldn't know.

Well, it's cool in this meat locker of a library, anyway :)
Hope all is well in upstate NY :)

Oh good grief! With such a short summer we better get ready for a
long winter.

"austintatious" is a common word used among the natives in Austin. I
have always thought it was a funny 'lil colloquialism. Mostly it refers
to the high-brow lifestyles of the rich and famous thereabouts.

Thanks, JD.
I wondered about the word, "austin-tatious".
The following is one of my favorite quotes about the rich:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The wretchedness of being rich is that you live
with rich people. To suppose, as we all suppose,
that we could be rich and not behave as the rich
behave, is like supposing that we could drink all
day and stay sober."
-Logan Pearsall Smith
