John Larsgard - not a terrorist threat, just obnoxious

Now the truth is emerging. Larsgard was not acted against by the school
administration, but by a "Student Discipline Committee". He was not
accused of being a threat to the health and safety of the people of
the United States. He was accused of obnoxious behavior. Reading between
the lines, one might suspect that alcoholic consumption was involved,
but personal privacy policies prevent officials from revealing all the
facts.

"According to Ayers, however, Larsgard was suspended, not expelled, from
USA until next summer term by the Student Discipline Committee, comprising
one faculty member and at least four students. Ayers said Larsgard went
before the disciplinary board "because he has on several occasions presented
himself as a threat to himself and others."

The only thing I don't understand is why he should lie to Norwegian papers about the armed
police officers coming to get him at the university. That must have been a lie, because no
armed police officers would evict someone in the case of a Student Discipline Committee. Also
why did the president of the Univ. send him letters every year to praise him? His mother showed
those letters. Methinks there's a bit more to it still... Of course, there might be things that
we do not know about.

One article I saw said his grades were excellent. That is what he was
praised for. His behavior, apparently, was something else. As to why he
would lie - how better to get sympathy instead of the scorn he apparently
deserves.

I agree with that Joy. There has not been one article in the paper or on tv that
says any of this is going on in schools, if it were I'm sure we would here it, I
think this is an isolated case. I live right near the University Of Florida,
lots of foreign students here and if they were kicking them out of the schools
we would be hearing about it.

Greeting!

The armed police officers were probably campus security. As this
was a disciplinary issue, they would normally be called.

He probably didn't lie, just witheld some important facts.
