Police called to deal with a possible robbery found a naked man
smeared with Vaseline driving round the car park of a North Carolina
supermarket.
Staff called police because they thought the driver might be about to
rob the Food Lion store in Mebane. He kept circling the car park,
pulling up in front of the store then driving off again.
They eventually persuaded him to get out of his truck after chasing
him round the car park at speeds of up to 40mph.
They then realised he was naked, apart from a T-shirt he'd managed to
partially pull on, and his hands and mid-section were covered in
Vaseline.
The Times-News reports they found paper towels, cloth towels, a large
jar of Vaseline and a pornographic magazine in the vehicle.
