punish the leaders of the demonstrations. They dont get it. There are no
leaders. This is a peer-to-peer system based on electronic
communications that governments, neither theirs, nor ours, can control.
Similarly, China wants blocking software installed. And when that
happens, users will slip in a Linux live CD, which wont have the
blocking software, burn whatever they want off the net in a CD, and walk
out of an internet cafe with no trace at all of who went where in
cyberspace.
Likewise, the video now from Iran is leaking out in innumerable ways to
be posted on the net, showing the thugs of the government of thugs, for
who they really are. The pretense of moral authority, which every
government needs to survive is breaking down.
Soon, I'd expect we'll see photos of the thugs in their uniforms on the
street posted asking people who the thugs really are. Then, the
protesters will tell the mothers what their sons have been doing for the
powers that be. This pretense that who you are at work does not come
home will be dispelled.
If there was full employment there would not be the masses on the
streets nor the dark rooms with earnest young men trying to hack into
the system. But the power elite has used the money of the state to
feather their own nests, and it is too late now to turn it around. The
chaos we see, and we'll keep seeing it, is driving investment that mite
create jobs to look for more stable societies.
Draconian law always works... for a while. Western media and governments
are trying to avoid exacerbating the conflict, but that wont keep a lid
on it, nor hide the lesson Iran is now teaching people in other regions
about how to oppose corrupt oppressive and dissembling systems. Women
will no longer put up with it.
Yeah. Look at the video from the rallies held by the government. All
men. Look at the street, and you see large numbers of women. Women are
better at keyboards like this too, and their voice is being heard on
screens like this no government can shut down, much less ignore.

the plan historically has been to incarcerate or bury those who speak
out. generally the more competent.

it will be an interesting
next 10 years or so, as the ruthless class tries to figure out how to

I myself am damn glad t be alive for such exciting and personally

power, and any action against them makes even more powerful martyr myths
out of them.
As to your other point, one of my mantras is that we are at the end of
5000 years of rule by the warrior elites. The brave heart, strong right
arm, sword in hand... just does not cut it anymore. Smith & Wesson
guarantee equal rights for smart women. They have better fine muscle
control and their intuitive sense of others allows them to organize
better to determine what the targets are, and then a more precision in
hitting just the target, with no 'ancillary casualties' the Pentagon has
always been so dismissive of.
I was born on an American Rockwellian farm in 1939, and very grateful to
have seen an ancestral way of life still going on. But the 3rd millennia
is nothing like I, or George Orwell, imagined. I never imagined the net
to discuss whats going on either. Sadly, all the ad hominem indicates
how neurotic most posters are, and if they are representative of the
rest of the population, I am not sanguine.
Things could, in Iran and elsewhere, get pretty bloody before the alpha
male warrior class is disempowered. I'm sure it will, just dunno if I'll
live to see it or not.
Fox, "The Pagans and the Christians" outlines the abandonment of pagan
values that had endured for millennia in the mere 60 years from
Constantine to Justianian. I see the same going on, but dunno where we
are in that 60 year process.

solutions I do not mean some "one size fits all" magic rules of order. I

dramatically at age 40 or so...and I quote mysef..

cannot spot the lies of others, The lies,
culturally and ones own, are then justtified...that is the error
and bogusness get locked in... wholesale
destruction insues... the competing interests trying to avoid
thier own destruction destroy each other.
so the root is...cease lying...become microscopically honest... you
will know when you have arrived by your tearful
collapse on the floor for a few weeks as you see suddenly the vast
damage you have done to others...but mostly and most
heart wrenchingly to yourself.... the lies have deprived you of the
nexus of Life.
3... With the justifcations gone, and doing a few drills.... such as
'write down all the things I am absolutely certain of and right
about'.... you will find at first that the list might
fill many books.... in the end you see that on a scale of abolutes
you are
are a drooling cave man.
after that the blinders come off...you cease justifying your own
error... your become open to seeing things as they actually are.
peace, progress and pleasure ensue.
getting that straight is a very tall order though, its toughest for
the most 'upstanding' among us..and easiest for the hookers and
wino's who already live where the rubber meets the road and suffer
under fewer alusions regarding their own gloriousness.
Then you find wisdom sets in.... situational wisdom... the mundane,
career wisdom etc... then pride sets in, the situation changes, and
you find
you are and remain an idiot.
after a while of that you cease seeing the polarities of life, and
start to see the larger gestalt of life and faintly (only faintly
though) less of a
complete idiot.
My favorite drill for that 'notice a drunk on the street and list all
the ways that he is living his life more successfully than your own...
you will find that the
nicer car you drive and more successful you are...the more you will
learn from that excercise'

getting back to the primary point however, that I learned the hard
way.... Lying ruins its host...it only scalds a few others...but it
ruins its host. and that ruin is not down the road... it happens
instantly... a comon misconception is that 'karma' takes time.....
it only seems that way, when the disease finally takes over totally,
but the fatal seed of the disease and loss of life happens instantly
with the first lie.... and be very sure, the most damaging are the
lies you tell yourself in the dark.
there is a test for those..... when you are totally straight you will
see clearly and be OK..no problem... the madder you are, the more
upset the more of your own lies, lies you tell yourself are at the
bottom of it. (such as 'I am competent')
the cure... when you get all excercized, seek out your own error... no
matter that some other may be a lot more screwed up than yourself...
that aspect i entirely irrelevant to your upset. seek how you
have lied to yourself,,, I do it on a sheet of paper until peace
ensues.
after that you will not be subject to the effects of your own error or
other peoples errors...you will not even be in that position.

to alpha male egos, so some, like Maggie Thatcher, operate in the same
mode. I read some hint in the Iranian struggle that the traditional
arrest and removal of "the leaders" wont work because what we are
looking at is an ongoing evolving peer-to-peer system where anyone who
stumbles across a meme suddenly becomes a 'leader', and that number
keeps growing so fast there's no way repression will work anymore.
The "initiative, imagination, and personal responsibility" does not fit
with Levantine religious dogma. Consider the "will of Allah" on them. As
shrinks would say, there is a cognitive dissonance, and women are
picking up on it faster than men.
Christian and Muslim dogma is dualistic; blessed/damned, good/evil,
righteous/sinful, Godly/Satanic and all souls are judged on one side or
the other depending on the choices made. But imagination & initiative
arise out of the evaluation of shades of gray, with every profit at the
expense of some downsides. Every act of personal responsibility is mixed
with degrees of mental pathology, which come and go. Were your having a
bad day? Is that why you were...
Rather than seeking forgiveness from god, we seek understanding. We dont
need a top down steep pyramidal power structure run by alpha male
mullahs or popes for that. Women and beta males get it; alphas dont.
Who is it that gets to decide what "is best for all"? We are returning
to the Platonic Golden Age of Peace where consensus rules. The
transition is messy, consensus takes time to build. It is building in
Iran right now, and none of the powers that be know what to do.

Whats worthless are alpha males who lack the intelligence and self
control to actually succeed at the domination they instinctively want.
Alphas who are gifted have produced great progress with their superior

much more effective at exposing the asininity of GOP policy.
Its a tough call; I voted for Goldwater in large part because I read
what he actually said rather than what was spun in the media. And I can
see how that disaster motivated the GOP to shift away from thoughtful
policy dissent to soundbytes. But at some point, the lack of substance
shows up, as we now see.
I just dunno where to draw the line between group think and the very
necessary agreement needed on the definition of terms and the outline of

the artistic sensibility remind me of Dali. Surreal, too heavy with eye
candy for my taste. The blurring the line between fireworks and
demolition was cute, but a lot of it was just too blurry. [that's a
period.] the line between justice and an excuse for violence is too
blurry as well. Kinda like whats been going on in Iran.
Is that a revolution, or a counter revolution? And all right, the death
of Nede was awful, but it wasnt a halocaust. Not yet. The Iranian video
is posted on the net also, and the real thing, if it is the real thing,
is not nearly as violent as the movie. Not yet. The government kicked
out all foreign journalists, but the dude from the Daily Show collecting
the video there was a comedian. Who showed us more truth.
Iranians look just like us. But do they really have 30% unemployment,
and if so, could we keep the system running like that? The deal going on
in Iran is whether the government is morally bankrupt because it is
using brutal force, altho not yet that deadly. The Daily Show implies
the Iranian power elite does not realize it no longer controls the new
media. The last time we saw a blunder like that was when the Junker
family, which owned all the newspapers in Germany, and thot it could get
rid of Hitler whenever it wanted, was blind sided by his use of the new
media, film and radio.
The power elite dont get either that our new media dont need any leader
with that much charisma who cant easily be replaced with a thousand or
moree others. V shows us people, en masse, stepping out, but I didnt see
how they got the idea they should do that, or what good they thot it
would do. And yeah, it makes for good video, but in Iran, the US, EU, or
anywhere else, is that necessary now? Spoze we all just stayed home?
But- rather than watching the TV video pablum, talked it over, here and
at home or on the phone, and paused to wonder if we're doing the right
thing, and not spend any money till we figure out what we really want.
I'm at the end of the grid, so I've seen my net access go down before. I
spent so much time on hold with support that my cell phone battery ran
low, but in that process, I could hear others were having problems, and
even a lady in customer supported mention technical difficulties.
Sunspots? I dunno. I do know a lot more about the fine print in my
communications contracts, and why I never got what I thot I paid for.
Rather than the violence and revenge in V, I can see it come apart
simply because they laid off so many people trying to cut costs and
maintain profits that the functionality that was spozed to produce the
profits and services in the first place fails. The whole damn economy is
on hold.

it helps, in my case at least, to look at mankind as a disease
organism, operating like any other bacterium or
growth turned malignant...
each of these from its own perspective is merely growing, learning
and prospering and building its infrastructure... just as a sun forms
from the primordial gasses, and in time hosts fusion providing
heat and light to its universe...
it too ends by its own consumption..it becomes too massive in
relation to
its host and becomes,a red giant or a drarf star or a black hole.. or
some other form of after life.
There is only one error as I see it...
the assumption of any single view point, then operating to the
miniscule interests
of that viewpoint alone, ignoring ones own host, and the context of
life generally, blind to the rest of actuality.
Operating that way ts always and 100% fatal... as it must and should
be...
all these are saluted by
the great father as they pass Im sure.

Im 68,,, I was beginning to have those issues... solved by figuring
out a way to make
myself ..err.. ahh.. interested again. The hormone production by
my experience is driven by
what you are actually intending to do, and staging to do, and begin
doing.. (At age 60 i bought a
flat track racing motorcycle... i recovered my stamina, witts and
err.. hormones ..the body gears up to
accomodate what you have planned for it. from what i can tell.
what to do with the time is another question..that took me a few years
to sort out...but its do-able... you can
just decide that ..how to have a gas the next 50 years... it will
become obvious framed that way. Just looking
for something to do doesnt work.
Defining whats mind blowingly worthwhile for you...works. Then you
will see all kinds of ways to accomplish that
and reach higher and higher levels of insight...it appears to be the
cultural mind set that we adopt by osmosis
and directly and per force of the way the culture operates that limits
our options.
you seem to have reached your intellectual goals ... you may want to
head off into physical directions as well... regenerate the
juice etc.. you can do that by assuming the role, for instance I took
up motorcycle racing again at age 60..got fit, ate raw,
began with the tight jeans and macho shirts... presto... I became a
dirty old man.
anything is possible.
by the way, when working out dont over do it... quit after 15 seconds
or sooner if its not fun or if you feel any stress at all.
in a week you will be up to maybe 30 seconds of light work out (I
recommend the gym for all of its equipment)... on that path I went
from
20 lbs to 200 lbs on a knee press machine in 60 or 90 days. being
ubber fit will change your life.. if you are also wise you will be
naturally
sexy and the oposite sex will start eye balling you again... you can
think of something to do with that.
in my car i keep two 3 lb medicine balls, I juggle them (in private)
for a few seconds each day, when thats easy add in, shifting from foot
to foot when
juggling the balls..when that gets too easy buy heavier balls.
it wont happen if you are not fit though..it cant... the blood is not
even moving through the brain sufficiently.

All China has to do it register the MAC addresses of every computer
sold in China, and require internet cafes to use MAC address filtering
in the wireless routers. They can log the MAC addresses and find out
who squealed.

other leaves no trace, other than a compleat system crash that trashes

mental function. For which there are scientific double blind studies to

me to try calf lac, a tbs/day to build muscle mass. Which I have indeed
found effective. Since I am post polio, I cant afford to loose any if I
am to remain mobile.
Last month, a 20 something visitor told me I was the most attractive
older man she ever met. I remain confused. I've been a cripple since 7.
in the past 63 years since, no female that I can ever recall ever said
anything about me being attractive. OTOH, maybe the regimen works. but
OTO, its a testament to the dysfunctionality of young men these days
that the question would ever enter a young woman's mind.
I cant rag on the case of hypocritical alpha male elite figures with
nuts hot enuf to get their ass in trouble. If I had the money, I'd fly
to Argentina to get laid as well. But nobody'd giva fuck if I did.
After 5000 years of rule by the alpha male elite, suddenly they care if
he cant keep it in his pants? When did they ever? Reminds me of an

who seems to not like it. But I can only conclude that so many of the

Then too, in an era when the average relationship is less than 7 years,
and I prolly have twice that left, I can see young women thinking I mite
still be worth spending time with. Nobody thinks of forever any more.
But- if they can keep the economy, and therefore the research going, we
may extend functional life indefinitely as the rate at which we suffer
the degredation of age does not keep up with progress to deal with it.
Especially, as you and I do, we maintain higher levels of physical
activity to slow that progression twards feebleness. The one other
factor will be the increasing power of women, who will be selecting
which men are worth whatever it costs to keep them fully functional. I
expect that decision will be made, in part, on the maturity of postings
rather than the usual asininity.
My website is crafted to appeal to the female elite in future years
rather than the alpha male elite we have in place now. I dunno what I'd
do with the extra years should they choose to give them to me, but seems
like the option would be preferable.
I aint even all that sure what to do with my time now. I go out to the
garden every day with one thing in mind to do, but inevitably see some
other things that have a higher priority. And here at the PC, should I
try to track down links to have a clearer idea of what is going on, or
organize the work I've already done to upload it to the website? Here
too, I often set out to do one thing, but find a detail that needs to be
done first, and that leads me down a whole different set of tasks.

days when it was all wire, you could trace back along the backbone to
maybe identify the node where a data packet started.
But now, with wireless, and eavesdropping devices, you can copy the MAC
address you refer to and then connect. The notion of controlling the
supply of computers to China mite be possible, but not the motherboards,
nor the software to burn the CMOS to modify the MAC or anything else, or
even the replacement of the ROM BIOS chips.
The MAC address may be written on a ROM BIOS chip, but not the others,
which are all identical from one motherboard to the next, and the ROM
chips are smaller than a postage stamp. And socketed. So, you can pop
out the one the CCP approves of, stick in your own chip, get online, do
what you want, then log off, pop that chip out again, and if the CCP or
whoever comes by to confiscate the PC, there'll be no trace of what you
did on that PC.

You may be rational, but the boomers were the last generation raised on
food grown on family farms. Everyone since has been exposed to
petrochemicals during childhood mental development, never mind being

that both were raised back in the Ozark boonies on food grown in family
gardens. When they graduated from Leslie High in 1996, 20% of that class

The rest of the nation, as you imply, may go to hell along with
California; but here, it is still family farms cause the land is too
steep for agribusiness. The school report on these Ozark hill towns

on the general psychopathology of the culture, but not yet have they

And they found out who wrote it. But dropped all charges when it was
figured out that the software house, which thot it had enuf lawyers to

simply stole his code rather than pay him for it.
A lot of us knew this was going on, and if you look it up, you can see
that Microsoft stole the TCP/IP stack from Linux. And that's just the
tip of a massive power pyramid. Built on stolen code, because we knew
judges and juries were not competent to evaluate code innovation. Nor
are they now.
So- what hackers started to do, was insert back doors, undocumented
functionality in their code so that if it was stolen, they could find
that out, and then take revenge. There are thus undocumented ways of
getting on the networks that only geeks know about. Never mind myriads
of other ways that come to mind. You can pay cash for a laptop, have it
bought by a patsy, and there's no video of you with it, nor digital
trail. And then use wireless to hack into a network.
They dunno how you did it, they dunno where you are, and they dunno who
you are. They are loosing control. And now, even the CCP gets it.
And if that aint enuf, the power elites are firing people; who walk out
of the high rise with a smartcard in a pocket with access codes, angry

by decades and in any event can't be "stolen" since it's a published

Go to the schoos, as I have, in the Ozark hill towns. The class photos are
on the entry way hall. 90% of the kids are normal weight. then get out
an Atlas, look up the higher elevation hill towns, North of I-40, and
between US 65 and I-540, ie, Ozark towns all the way to the MO border.

cause they dont have any. In every school, over 95% of kids are tested.
And they get these scores from teachers who have the second lowest pay
in the USA. In schools where most of the kids are poor enuf to get their
lunches paid for.
Course, there are other factors. All these schools are small; less than
300 kids. Autism has been demonstrated to be triggered by viruses. But
in these schools, the population is so low that the latest bug does not
have enuf time to mutate before it runs out of new victims. Surf, you'll
see better results from small schools everywhere.

protein. A few years ago, the bags at the feed mill listed 19%, and now,
agribusiness wheat bags dont even say anymore.

posted in recent years about this. People do not want to think of what
their parents did to them, much less what they do to their own kids. If,
however, we see the kind of systemic collapse Diamond writes of, better
look for an obscure family farm community to respond more rationally to

West Memphis, Jonesboro, Little Rock, Texarkana, or any of the other
delta towns that are sprayed with foggers to control mosquitos and set
amid agribusiness plantations that have crops dusted. I was quite
specific in the territory, gene pool, and culture I referred to.
As for these other states, I dont have the data on them, so have no
opinion on why their rates mite vary. Autism is related to a couple
dozen DNA markers as well as exposure to pathogens and organic
compounds, never mind what the etiology of ADD, ADHD, ICD, or whatever
are. But the superior academic performance, DESPITE low income, you'd
think would be worth looking into.

dozens of schools, and if they are in the area, the data is compelling.
I didnt say to just look up one school, and did post that I was put onto
this by a school nurse reporting on a whole district of small schools.

I dont specify what the virus is, nor did the Autism researcher who
mentioned it in her presentation. Inasmuch as these bugs go thru schools
chronically, and she didnt get to do the diagnosis until some time after
it had passed, neither she, nor anyone else, was able to collect
specimens of the pathogen to determine whether it was one variety, one
of several, or an individual response to a well known bug.
The only way to get that data would be to constantly collect samples
from chronically infected populations, like school kids, then if autism
shows up later, you can go back to look. Nobody has thot of doing it.
What we do have, is the lower rate in dozens of Ozark hill towns that
all have small schools with under 300 kids, k=12. That is, no more than
30 kids in each cohort, so the diseases that affect the early grades,
where autism appears, dont have enuf new victims to infect for mutation
would work to keep the bug going.

Bubonic plague didnt come from domestic livestock. And when it showed
up, it didnt affect the domestic livestock. Cholera & dysentery dont do
anything to ruminants either. Nor do brucelosis or hoof & mouth affect
hominids. Kashrut banning pigs makes sense, as we see with swine flu,
because of so many diseases that can infect hominids.
But the problem, which Kaufmann & Stanley indicate, vastly precedes the

But nobody has looked for the demographic data comparing large to small
schools. All I have is the data on the Ozark hill towns schools, without
being able to use, for instance, that from West Virginia, where mining
has contaminated the environment and aquifers.
Nobody has tried to evaluate the incidence of mental pathology in the
larger schools, altho I see it is under 5% in the hill towns.

whereas men are brave, stalwart and loyal, women are fickle. But along
with that fickleness comes adaptability to different social values. Its
the men who've relied on unchangable scriptural law. And its the guys

Culturally, the Mosou dont have an attitude about what women do with their
sexuality. PBS FRONTLINE sent a video crew to the Mosou. Mentions the
immigration of women, inferring some are hookers.
The Mosou are not embattled by the government, but the reporter, who is
Mosou, and returned after her education in the USA, does pick up on the
challenges the Mosou face with the tourist trade impacting their ancient
culture. Its reminiscent of Native American tribes doing ritual dances,
which formerly were performed only at certain sacred holidays- now on a
regular basis for tourists, and how they sense the materialism
corrupting a spiritual experience.
But if you refer to the Uygher, that has nothing whatever to do with
Communism, and everything to do with bringing the province into the
modern age and ending the Islamic misogyny that has always kept the
women barefoot and pregnant. Do you really want to see yet another
fundamentalist Islamic nation using its assets to fund terrorism?
IF the Uygher were in fact a native population they would not be robbing
the graves of ancestors to sell grave goods from the era of the Silk
Road to buy weapons and explosives. Nor would they be going into
Buddhist temples defacing the art and damaging the architecture like the
Taliban did in Afghanistan to the monumental Buddhas.
What the Chinese are trying to bring into to the Tien Shen is CAPITALISM
to replace the Uygher tribalism where the clan chiefs control the

matriarchal paradise, yet it seems that few scholars actaully consider
them a matriarchy. Do you have any thoughts on that?

women have power as well. They are more egalitarian than patriarchic
systems that have so often drifted from the original egalitarian
republic into oligarchy and then tyranny. I dont see where women created
tyrannies.
Another thing seen with matriarchies, is that they recognize there are
patriarchic power structures they need to deal with. I see that all the
way down to the local level, where I've been asked to make some
arrangements because I had a penis. But I did so knowing what the women
wanted out of the deal.
Kucha did this several times; they had a king, who was taken by the
Chinese as a hostage in some deal. But then, the Kuchi went on about
their business like they always had, and if the Chinese killed the
hostage, its all right, there's plenty more where he came from.
Emperors were like presidents; each successor wants to put his own stamp
on the time, and he does so by changing policy. So, sometimes the
hostage came back still wearing his head. Other times, there was a coup
or revolution with all of China falling into anarchy. So, as this begins
to unfold, Chinese garrisons in the Tarim basin were withdrawn also.
China controls the area now, as it often has for the last 2000 years;
but it was always with a velvet glove, and often at the invitation of
the matriarchic city states in the effort to control banditry on the
Silk Road, which was good for both of them. So- during those times,
front men, no different from those the Mosuo still use, were installed,
who were also able to communicate to the matriarchs how the patriarchic
power structure thot.

I never said it was perfect. but it is classic neurotic thinking to see
so many issues as either white or black, blessed or curse, good or evil.
Thats another characteristic of matriarchic systems. They never produced
a mosaic law or the last judgment for heaven or hell. That kind of
dualism is classic patriarchy.
The female instinct to seek consensus necessarily recognizes valid, but
opposing views and downsides. Its part of the reason it took so long for
them to decide what to do. A point I've made several times that can lead
to downfall. You dont always have time to reach consensus; statecraft
may require immediate action.
Perhaps you remember madam Mao? and the Dowager empress? There are many
examples too of times when China was run by the harem, who murdered
emperors that were not serviceable as front men. Back in the Tang China
had empresses, who if you look up the names, you realize are Aryan, and
came from Kucha, Urumchi, Niya, Khotan, etc.
Because these lines understood international free market capitalism,
they tended to cut back on the monopolistic policies of patriarchy and
created both notable art and an economic boom. Again, the kind of thing
you'd expect on a system that relies on consensus; everyone gets a piece
of the pie.
