Well, I opened my Sunday paper and could not believe my eyes! Our local
Dillard's actually has the
Spring 2001 pallette--now. A nice large color ad makes the pallette look
very attractive.
I can't figure out which of the colors are for lips and which ones are for
the eyes. Are they all mix and match?

The Aqualumieres stands on its own, but can be worn with the eye quad. I
think you can mix and match.

Well if your talking about the Chanel Water Colour Palette, you can use them
all anywhere you want, dry or wet (there is a little space provided for
water). That's the beauty of this kit.
Have fun with it!

I picked this up from Selfridges. They came in on Feb 5. So far, I like it,
but it is a bit tricky to work with. and I'm uncertain about the "wet" bit....
as someone else posted, the water tends to bead up on top. Used dry, the colors
are VERY subtle and a bit tricky to blend using dry brushes. Still, the colors
are flattering and soft, and I like the idea that you can use them anywhere.
For the past few days I've used the kit on eyes, lips and cheeks. I'll post
more as I find techniques of using it....

maurey, think of it more as a wet-brush technique than of a mixture of the
color and water... dip the brush in the well of water, then smoosh over the
surface to create a darker color on the brush. you won't end up with a puddle
of color, like you would with the mac cream eye liners or any other eye shadow.
and please let us know of good color combos!!

Maurey,

I find it easiest to apply with my fingers for a sexy smudgy look

hmmm... this is a great way of thinking about it! I'll keep playing with it
and get back to you. But this is good advice.
