Okay ladies, what do you think is the best new color story for spring? (has
to include colors that you will wear throughout the season)
Low end: Revlon and L'Oreal
High end: (I did not buy much high end stuff this season, so I can't play on
this one).

I bought a bunch of the innocence L'Oreal story...the soft colours really
appealed to me. I wasn't impressed with much of theRevlon.

I'm out for high end as well.

High end, I really like the MAC color story though I can't wear most of it.
Lorac's cheek washes are excellent and the colors in their lip lacquers are
nice, though the product leaves much to be desired, imho. I also like Stila's
as well.
Low end: Revlon Skinlights (they bring out a new story every month it seems)
and the L'oreal Colourjuices.

High end - Chanel all the way..... had a makeover today with National artist
Eddie Fie - we had great fun playing with color and I even showed him a few
combinations....it was either dramatic or I looked like a puta when I
returned to the barrio.... but the girlz loved it! The new glossimers,
shadows, bronze kit will sell out. Next to Chanel, the Versace sheers and
glosses are exquisite. Bobbi Brown in worthy of note with the Pearl kit and
wonderful blushed blush. Her new shadows in steel, mint and blonde are
quite nice too. Also the new cream wand glosses are interesting and nice new
lipsticks including crimson and rosebud shimmer. Stila didn't do it since I
hate the trio packaging for use with large brushes. Wanted to like the new
Lancome tube glosses but they are too light!

Low end - Lipfinity has to be worth a try just for its staying power but
textures and color leave much to be desired. Revlon is an almost - the
cream quad really isn't a Chanel Aqualumiere palette. Skinlights maybe fine
if you are tres young. Saw L'Oreal innocence tonight.... and bought nothing
(but then I had previously bought 3 new Chanel Glossimers, Bamboo shadow and
the "right" lip liner for the new Glossimers). The pastelness of Innocence
just to me is old and I really prefer the Dior Pearle set. The L'Oreal tube
glosses are nice - last summer's Lancome ones. But the colors are indeed
last summers. I was very disappointed in the L'Oreal tube blush. rjudith

High End - Surprisingly, I loved Estee Lauder's color story. Rich but
sheer, brilliant pastels - it's very spring, and wonderfully wearable.

However, my favorite single item has to be Chanel's Aqualumiere, although I
disliked the rest of their story.

Low End - Cover Girl's Mod Colors - very bright and bold eye pencils, with
sheer pastel shadows, glosses and blushes. Lava glosses were so clever!
Yummy candy colors - a little young for me, but a lot of fun.

Low End: L'Oreal So Delice in Violet Delight (sort of like
Cliniques Almost Lipstick in texture)
L'Oreal Color Riche in Innocence

High End: Haven't checked those out yet

High-End: Haven't checked out the new stuff yet. Went out once just to look
but the counters were too crowded.

Low-End:
L'Oreal Innocence line: No drama here (not an "rjudith color" in the bunch),
but I love this soft and subtle stuff. Got both shadow duos, Sugar and Spice
(the brown in this is great but the beige could be a tad less warm) and Cherry
Blossoms (the light pink makes a great highlighter....softer than winter
white). Also the Blush blush duo is nice, I never go heavy on blusher and find
this color/highlighter combo is just right. In the lipsticks I got Full Bloom,
first day worn it got 4 compliments with 3 of the four wanting to know what it
was so they could get it too. Passed on the Airwear foundation, too
thick/heavy.

Revlon Skinlights: Skinlights Lotion in Natural is perfect for no-foundation
days. Also like the pink cheek gleamer. Their powder was too glittery, I'll
stick with Px Magic. Didn't try the lip palettes because they *are* palettes.

Oil of Olay: The tinted moisturizer is just being re-released in the U.S.
UVA/UVB SPF 15 and fragrance-free. I'm liking this for no-foundation days when
I don't want the opalescent shimmer of Skinlights.

Max Factor: One word: "Lipfinity"
