[rant] Maybelline Crystal Glitters E/S

Last night i picked up one of the new Maybelline Crystal Glitter e/s
pencils. I try to say away from Maybelline since i don't have good luck
with alot of their products... but the picture on the display sold me! The
model had beautiful silver glittery lids!! So i picked up Glass Slipper.. a
shimmery white/silver with silver glitter. But i didn't have no luck with
it. It's like a cream eyeshadow in a jumbo pencil... and it creases like
crazy!! It had already creased before i finished my face. Also, I can't
even see the glitter... =( It looks just shimmery white. In the display
picture they most of added loose glitter to her lids. I tried putting white
powder eyeshadow under and i thought they would help... but it didn't!
Another makeup product to add to the already huge bag of failed makeup
products i already have.

I just thought i'd write a review in case someone else was considering
picking it up. Maybe it will work for someone else, but i didn't work for
me.

I too have one of these pencils. It is kind of a blue silvery color. It is
a bit more creamy then I like too but I have kept on trying to get it to
work for me. I apply it lighty over eyshadow and I use it as a liner over
a darker blue to soften it and make it glitter a bit. In certain lights you
can see the sparkles better then other. Keep trying different things to
make it work for you.

I bought the lilac pencil and in less than an hour I could see glitter
but no color whatsoever. Usually my shadows stay on all day. This
pencil was soft and pretty to look at but a huge disappointment to
use.
