Black Silk three piece suit with longer
skirt - black hose and matching black
silk lower heel pumps. Weather is
cloudy, rainy, chilly - not winter - not
summer - tough to pick a wardrobe on
these days. Silk seems to work.

"Dressed to the Nines" today as I'm celebrating the submission of my
first big new product proposal to upper management. The big
presentation to the higher-ups will take place a week from tomorrow.
Tonight, I journey to the big city for the annual "Andrew Carnegie
Lecture", which is a big deal if you happen to be a metallurgist living
in SW PA. The list of past lecturers reads like a who's-who of the
metals industry!!

Claiborne silky pinpoint "hidden-button-down" shirt in a bright medium

HI

Easter weekend for us Christian types(actually I think we are all just
excited about spring, Easter is a convenient holiday Ooops OT!)

So gardening on Sat brings out the knee pads and old Osh Kosh overalls,
a good Tee shirt and my husband's discarded LLBean fishing shirt. My
rubber soled rain boots and a kerchief cause it looks cool.

For Tonight:

Dinner with old friends

-silk, apricot sleeveless 'smart' dress, above knee and kinda tight
(LPiana)
-deep plum and rasberry 'sherbert' shawl, pure silk, pure Hermes(new a
gift from Jim when he went to HK last week)

-dkny hose
-My only 'real' high heels (3")(ferragamo)

Tomorrow we all get dressed up for a nice family dinner and church

Easter next Sunday. For the rest of you Christian types, have a nice

Well, be happy.... the rest of us in Christianity will be doing Easter
"dry runs" tomorrow so it will be thoroughly debugged for the Eastern
Orthodox folks. <grin/duck>

Easter is quite significant -- one of the three days of the year they
close Tar-jay... not to forget that they closed the stock market
yesterday.

I think the only people who get off Good Friday are students and
teachers in parochial schools (my SIL and her DD had the day off, but
her DH had to work) and stockbrokers.

Even more irritating, I believe they and the Amish can also pick up

Well, a few outfits today. Up early this
morning to attend sunrise service and it
was cold - black silk pantsuit with black
sweater and trench coat - thank goodness
it was only 1/2 hour and then breakfast.

For church at 11:00 tannish/golden brown
suit, with brown silk sweater, brown shoes
and hose and small leopard hat and
earrings.

Out to dinner later - who knows perhaps
the same outfit - perhaps something different.

My husband is leaving his law firm in a full time capacity to take on
a new job as legal counsel for one of the hospitals in town. He will
still be doing some work for the firm but the majority of his time
will be for the hospital. Today was his going away party and every
single attorney wore a white shirt, red tie and lightweight wool
slacks. They looked like a choir. After twenty-three years his white
shirts and red ties became his work uniform. They had screensavers
throughout the office with his photo and words of wisdom, "people
never change", "people never get smarter" and lastly, "work, bill and
collect."

that's too bad..
I really like stuffed bell peppers, but unfortunately, my boyfriend
doesn't
and I don't want to go to all the trouble of making them just for
myself...

Well, if most TBDs were edible, we could get fat on them at work.

Bright melon colored ribbed tank top, black jeans, black lace-up Ariats, and my
black Stetson cowboy hat. I know that there have been some controversies
regarding cowboy hats, but I'm going to the "honky tonk" (a bar....The Hitchin'
Post) tonight, so this is an appropriate look. :-) Hell, I work for a horse
trainer anyway!

Yes, but there's usually icky-tasting things mixed in with the ETOH,
unless you get Everclear. A little Everclear goes a long way, used
either as rocket fuel or beverage.

Its Saturday, and after morning chores and grocery shopping, I'm heading back
into the office to deal with a little backed-up paperwork, and then to the mall
to continue shopping for Amy's graduation present. This afternoon/evening,
Tony and I are stopping in on a friend's Kentucky Derby party, where we'll hang
out for a casual dinner party after the race.
Sunny, hot (90s!!!!) and humid today.

For morning/day:
- Heather gray/pink Champion Jogbra
- White sleeveless cotton shirt (tails tied "Connie"-style just under the bust)
- Pink cotton denim button-fly shorts (VS London Jean)
- White leather Keds sneakers

For this evening:
- Swapping the shorts for a white denim/spandex capri pants (Ralph Lauren)
- Swapping the sneaks for white double-banded leather slides (2 1/2" heels)
from NineWest.

Take care, everyone!

Cheers,
- Marie

As to RE: Keds or Not...? Marie wears Keds sneakers. For me, the
decision is made right here. I will wear them and proudly! :) kayper

She also has a pair of red high-top Chucks. If you have a pair of red
high-top Chucks, that compensates for the Keds karma.

I have to admit that I like my 620's better.

>I have a pair and I really like them...too bad they are discontinued now...

There *is* the 713... probably the major difference is the number.
They look a lot the same.

New Balance competes with Nike's proclivity to come out with "new" and
"improved" products (which are usually enyucked) by periodically
rolling the number.

If you want to snarf up another pair of 712's, Eastbay

http://www.eastbay.com/

has them in broken sizes for 49.99:

4E - 7 to 9 and 11 1/2
D - 7 to 10 1/2, 11 1/2, 13
B - 11 1/2

>What size 712s do you wear?

11 1/2 4E.

You can see them at:
