Not much yet, but that's about to change on Saturday!
I've got the three Stila shadows preordered as well as two of the eye glosses.
Nicole OPI most of the Metamorphic line
OPI Kimono'ver Here and another (I confess, I got these from the company)

I've got plans to ravage the MAC counter, Nars, and Bobbi Brown, in addition to
the Stila mentioned above. :-)
So ask me again on Monday.

Can you elaborate a bit on why you hate the glosses? I was admiring them
at eve.com today and thinking about ordering...but haven't heard much

Dang! I haven't gotten anything yet, but I go Friday for my MAC makeover with
the new spring stuff. I expect to buy Shroom, at the very least. The
reappearance of peach/orange colors for spring did lead me to excavate my MAC
Mango eyeshadow from the depths of my makeup case and wear it today, it looked
just ok. I spruced it up with a bit of Stila Kitten and it looked better.

They smell sort of like suntan oil--sort of coconutty, but not
in a good way. They have a little stumpy brush that splays out
and makes it hard to apply a clean edge at the lip line. And
they are sticky--my hair blew into the gloss about ten times
today and got stuck so hard that it was almost painful to pull
it out.

Baby Doll is a pretty pink, but Pop is a kind of dead-looking
greyed mauve color that doesn't flatter me. I have a lot of
Bonne Bell Liplites, and the difference between the HC and
the BB is too subtle to justify the price difference.

Am also seriously considering the Sweet Dreams wand gloss and Belissima duo
from Nars. Also want the new Luscious quad from Hard Candy, but I'm afraid
that I won't use a lip palette (I almost never bother with that) and one of the
colors, the brighter cherry pink/red color is a color that I'll never use. So
that's less definite than the others....

Today I picked up Benefit creme shadow in Have Her Home By........ , a sheer
shimmery pale green. I had previously purchased Urban Decay Urb shadow and the
Benefit looks amazing underneath Urb. I am going to test drive this look
tonight for longevity and glitter containment.

I also got Stila lip polish in Twinkle. I know, I know.......I should hate this
product but I really wanted something like Melon shine in an easier-to-apply
container. So far, so good. Definitely my best spring lip look so far. Very
pretty.

Tomorrow I'm hitting MAC for VG3, Shroom & Humid shadows, and a test drive of
the Hyperreal foundation.

The only new stuff I've bought in months was at the Dior counter this week. I
think the cream eyeshadow (Rose Halo) was the only "official" spring item, and
it's wearing VERY well. I must, must, must get more of these! The Rose Fantasy
lipgloss is gorgeous too, I'm surprised it's not more popular!

How does Urb differ from Cash, which is a pale frosty green?
Sounds like maybe chunkier glitter?

My latest spring purchase: Almay nail polish in Peachy. It's a very

Ugh. This is going to be the second time I've seen someone has a

Actually I could be wrong. I wasnt at home when I posted this and I could be
thinging more of the too faced green in thr oompa loompa duo. I think with the

just silver though)

I haven't done a whole lot of Spring Shopping.

MAC lipglasses in Sprout (hardly ever use) and Juiced (use with Stila Helen
and love)

Looked at new Stila stuff and was disappointed by how much I was
underwhelmed! I *need* some Stila shadows, too. I have 9 pans to fill.
<gloat>

The new Mercier didn't do much for me. Although, I love the brushes and
foundation.

Nothing appealed at Versace, YSL, etc.

Wanted the Hard Candy quad and am still cogitating. I really want to know
about and try the new skincare from Pola. I am in major lust for the two
new CSP scents, which I have not smelled yet. Think the Trish scents #4? &
#9 are must haves.

Recent purchases that were not part of Spring collections, but are winners:
-Stila Helen with Lip Contour #3 Lovely sheer brown. Don't ask me why,
but I want brown right now.
-Urban Decay Apparition Now I know why people were raving about this. I
use it as pressed powder on top of foundation or by itself as sheer
foundation on the weekends.

Actually, I bought some BB staples (foundation, powder, blush) but I did
check out her cream shadow sticks. I bought the one in lavender. Similar
to her shadow, Heather, but lighter. So far I like the consistency of
this. Not too creamy, easily blended. Almost like an "eye stain". The
color is for me, too. Good for green/blue eyes. I bought it in the
afternoon, and wore it for evening conferences, so not enough time to
check for creasing. I'll road test it tomorrow. If it wears well, I'm
going to get the sky blue. Pretty color.

Just got back from a family vacation in South Florida, and I went a little
crazy. I bought:

First I went to Sephora in South Beach and got:

Bourjois lipstick in Sangria (pretty light orange)
Bourjois blush in Tomettes (this blush is the rounded dome style and is SO
easy to put on properly, both directly and with the funny little curved
brush they give you
Club Monaco Eyeshadow in Amber (I wanted Stila Mango but I hate the paper
compacts and this looked identical to my eye-- texture of this shadow is
wonderful. It's a powder but it's very creamy)

I was so thrilled with the Bourjois stuff that I had check out the Sephora
in Coconut Grove as well. There I got:

Bourjois lip gloss in Orange Acrylic. This is the first tube lipgloss I've
ever liked. Not sticky at all but very emollient, and it comes with a brush
rather than a sponge applicator, which I love.

Bourjois eyeshadow trios in Greens and Golds. I cannot rave enough about
these eyeshadows. They lasted from 9 am to 9 pm on me (including a plane
ride where there was lots of eye rubbing), have just the right amount of
shimmer, and work perfectly together, unlike most duos/trios/quads I've
found.

Smashbox lipstick in Smashing Bacio-- this is not a spring color at all,
it's a vivid, glossy burgundy, but I've been looking for it for over 6
months now and they've stopped carrying Smashbox anywhere near me.

I've paid little attention to the Bourjois fanfare on here because I dislike
Chanel cosmetics, but this stuff is GREAT! I am not a "collector" within
lines-- I buy what I like and ignore the rest-- but I am already itching to
own more Bourjois. I truly cannot believe that this is a drugstore line
because the quality is so high.

Not much, really....I wasn't sure about the whole orange/peach thing so I
wanted to try out some low-end stuff before I took the plunge.
Revlon Sunspark w/d single
CG Sheer Peach gel blush stick

I actually think that's it--I'm so proud of myself =P

Also, I swapped for a HC Hypnotic quad, which isn't really springy colors,
but does include a light peachy color I like to use with the Sunspark.

When I first played with this product at Wal-Mart, I rubbed and rubbed and
rubbed it on my hand but NO color showed up! Then yesterday I was at Walgreens
and decided to try it again. This time color did show up, but definatly not
peachy. Sort of a sheer orangey color which did not seem very wearable, even

Not exactly: the word peach has several definitions - one is that of the
fruit, another is something or someone pleasing and the third is
specifically that of a color as a medium to strong yellowish pink to rather
light orange. In definition of peach as a color it is thought of a pastel
and not toward red -even though the fruit might be that. When used as an
adjective, i.e., peach-colored - the following are in the thesaurus: pink,
rose-pink, roseate, rosy, rose-colored, flesh-colored, flesh-pink,
shell-pink, salmon-pink. When you say someone has a "peaches and cream"
complexion you really do not think of them as orangey red. rjudith

Not rude at all. Hmm .. in my opinion, and just my opinion, when I
think peach, I think a beige with shades of orange added to it. More
like a orangey beige. I know the outside of a peach, the fruit, has
several tones of colour. And the lightest one is the one I'm refering
to.

A few makeup products that I think are peachy are Stila Delauney and
Stila's Peach Shine.

I broke the "no orange for me" vow today by buying Revlon Sunsparks
polish -- for my toes with my new patchwork jungle-print slides.

I tried the Hint of Peach (love it in the French -- Soupcon de Peche)
CG gel again today to see if I wanted to keep it or not. I might
change my mind, but I didn't think it looked too bad. I need to blend
this and the Berry well, but I find them to be subtle, natural-looking
colors on me -- nothing like their in-the-tube appearance.

Yes, this somehow sums it all up.

Ahh, so it *is* the same hideous fire-orange colour when applied? After
looking at an opened tube today at Target, I immediately put it back. I was
hoping that it was just....concentrated, and that it was actually sheer when
applied. But oh well, I can't complain about saving $7. :)

A major case of YMMV - on me, it's a really sheer, delicate peaches & cream
kind of look. Then again, I think I'm the only person on the planet who
doesn't look good in Nars Orgasm.
