I saw a girl getting her make up done for a test for her wedding at a
bobbi brown counter last year and it was beautiful. In fact I ended
up buying a couple of the products they used on her.

We spent time in Saks looking at the various makeup lines, then had a makeover at the
Bobbi Brown counter. The results were great, so we booked the SA on the spot.
Since there sill are 2 months before the wedding, there is time to try
different looks. One Saturday morning at Filene's I saw a woman actually in
her wedding dress going in to get her makeup done as a"free" demo. Pick a
line, such as Bobbi Brown which photographs exceptionally well, and try
counter makeup artists at stores until you find the look you like. And then
try and make a deal - paying for that MA to come to the house before the
wedding. Too often people end up with a look that is not them and is too
complicated. But then some people want everything without paying or want to
be something they are not. Last year Tracy was going to have a counter
makeup artist come to her house and to the wedding but with all that was
going on that day she decided to do her own makeup. Over the few months
before the wedding she had picked products carefully, knew they went
together, knew how to apply them and that they did not irritate her skin.
She looked radiant and glowing and did the makeup herself. rjudith
