New school shoes. They're black chunky Kenneth Cole loafers and I really hope
my headmaster won't take a cow after seeing them.

Also, two pretty scarves at Club Monaco...one is a gorgeous sky blue and the
other a pale lilac.

I'll admit that I walked past the PEEPS on the way to get my COZAAR
prescription. (We both went to the drugstore, probably not the same
one.)

I went all out trying to get ready for a dance in two weeks:

At Nine West flagship store on Bloor, Toronto:
strappy mules in Irontone, the style is N-taffet.
Enzo black evening bag

At Chanel:
Nail polish in midnight blue: Cosmique #28
really wanted the one on the back cover of In Style [a lighter
blue] but it's not sold in TO.

At Aveda:
Mask-Hair-a in Bronze

At CD:
Mascara Flash in cobalt and fresh green.

and now that's out of my system, gotta get cracking on the books...

A plastic bottle. Only $217 plus $60 to remove and replace the broken
one.  A bargain at half the price.

The windshield washer reservoir sprung a leak on my car. The reason
for the high price is that the reservoir comes with the windshield
washer pump installed. (They don't have just the reservoir.)

The stupid reservoir comes out from the BOTTOM. You have to put the
car on a lift and take out some of the underbody protective stuff to
get to it. (It's not extremely difficult but best left to a mechanic
with all the proper equipment.)

Doesn't it just kick yer ass when something seemingly so cheap goes out on your
car and it costs you a billion dollars for someone to put a new one on?  A
plastic bottle!  And that's really all it is...
"Excuse me, let me just pick one up at Wal-Mart for $2.97 and we can hook it up
to the car, okay?"

I thought about proposing a quick trip to "Pick and Yank" in the
nearby city of Stinkadena.

(According to the government offices that keep track of place names,
Stinkadena is legally known as PASADENA.) Although, if you've been
there, STINKADENA is a much better name with all the petrochemical
plants and Simpson Paper, which makes the petrochemical plants smell
downright fragrant... ready for Parfums du Citgo?

At Wal-Mart:

It must have been a Bonne Bell day
-Vanilla Honeybee natural lip gloss (in lg. pot w/ green lid)
-Lip Gear in Cinnamon something (and it smells like cinnamon too!-it is a WnW
666 lookalike to my eyes and is a long "chubby stick"- there were about 6 other
colors and probably their smell matched the names)

My mom bought me a new muffler (if that counts :)
