Here's hoping those of you familiar with fantasy art will recognize my
description of this poster - which was sold in many retail outlets in the
mid-eighties, including Spencer's Gifts that I know of for sure.

It shows a close up of a young woman's face, with a cat's head to one side
and a small bird flying just past her forehead. The three blend together at
the edges, i.e. the bird's tail feathers and cat's whiskers merge into the
woman's hair. The background is really vague in my memory, but I think it
is a misty gray outdoor scene (a forest maybe?). The whole poster is edged
in black.

If anyone knows the artist or title of this poster, I'd love to know it.
Or, if you know of any good fantasy art poster sites online where I can
search by subject rather than artist or title, I'd appreciate knowing that,
too. I've looked at poster thumbnails 'til my eyes ache, there are so many,
but I have a feeling this poster is out of print by now so I'm relying on
memories better than mine.

Thanks for any help,

Katrina

I remember the picture but your best bet is to ask this question in
alt.binaries.pictures.fantasy-sci-fi? If anyone can answer your question it
will be the regulars in there - who will probably have a scan of it as well.

Cheers,

Darren.
