I'm still going through Deja News, laughing up a storm at some of the
old stuff, when I came across the Vizh vs Zoogz confrontations. This
particular thread was actually round 2. I'd just come off of ragging
Zoogz about his quitting fetish when he posted somekind of anti-british
comments, which I took and used to make him come out of character. It
WAS a work, but Zoogz wasn't in on it. Sorta like a kid trying to
impress the master. This was back in June, and no one had ever really
heard of Vizh back then, aside from the Evan rants.

I don't mind being being the recipient of a LITTLE hostility on the net,
because I realize that that goes with the territory of being a
satirist. I
hate having to sit down and explain a JOKE to some anal-retentive moron
who obviously DOESN'T GET IT, but when I start being SERIOUSLY
accused of being a racist, I'm compelled to draw the line and respond
with a "serious" answer and clarification:
Hopefully I won't have to repeat any of the following ever again (but
I know I will, because Vizh isn't the only thick-skulled idiot in these
newsgroups I frequently post in):
1. My posts are intended to entertain, NOT offend. Often, I post
words,
ideas and jokes that are meant to be sarcastic, silly and ABSURD.
For those of you who haven't caught on, though I've frequently
pointed
this out to you for over a year now, on a philosophical level I'm
an
OBJECTIVIST---that means (among many other things) that I'm very
PRO-INDIVIDUAL---I don't judge people by their group, race, sex,
culture, etc. Anyone who does is irrational and hypocritical.
However,
creatively, I'm a DADAIST: THAT means that I'm anti-normal, anti-
mediocrity, anti-BULLSHIT, and use my art to reflect the absurdity
and
stupidity of the world around me, with the hopes that someone
either
might have a laugh to help get them through their tedious day, and
that
maybe somebody else every once in a while might catch on and LEARN
SOMETHING. If I was 20, this would be an arrogant stand to take,
but I'm about to be 43, and I've worked very hard to earn the right
to
consider myself a teacher.
2. I have NOTHING against the British, Scottish, or any other
nationality.
Anyone who thinks I do is misinterpreting my posts, and taking my
absurdity as serious statements. I've tried to make myself
idiotically
OBVIOUS, in a deliberate attempt to AVOID that kind of whining
misinterpretation ("Pip pip?"---I mean, COME ON NOW...how
ridiculous!), but yet some people continue to take it seriously and
cast serious accusations about my character, or perceived lack of
it.
3. I have a very strong ego, and solid self-image. I can't be shaken.
I will seriously defend myself when the attacks become frequent and
counter-productive. I've created a life for myself of essentially
non-stop
productivity, and I take pride in that. As an artist, I enjoy
showing off
what I've created---as a storyteller, I enjoy bragging about what
I've done.
As an intellectual, I enjoy telling and defending the truth. As a
PERFORMER, however, I enjoy utilizing satire, sarcasm, parody,
surrealism and absurdity as my mediums for humor. I do this on the
net
VOLUNTARILY---nobody's paying me to do it (or to STOP doing it,
for that matter...ha ha...)---I do it because it entertains me and
promotes
my products and serves my personal purpose. I DON'T OWE YOU
ANYTHING---therefore, if you don't like my posts, or agree with
them,
THAT'S TOO FUCKING BAD. Either skip them or live with them.
3. I suggest that some of you check your premises, as well as the
facts,
and look a little deeper below the surface, before throwing around
false and unfair accusations such as RACISM. When I conclude that
most of you in these newsgroups are PINHEADS, I'm basing it on
first hand observation, study and scientific analysis. As my Magic
8-Ball just reconfirmed, "Signs point to YES."

Everyone praises Zoogz when he's roleplaying the world's greatest
arsehole,
which incidentally appears to be 2nd nature to him. That, I can live
with.
Everyone also praises Zoogz when he steps out of character to explain to
everyone what a bunch of PINHEADS they are for not being able to keep up
with
his superior wit and humor. Except here, the pinhead in question is
Zoogz
himself, for he was out-witted, and forced out of character for the 2nd
time
in a mere 2 attempts.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander, is it not? Zoogz
likes to
stir up reactions in people by orally flatulating anything he can think
of,
but what happens when someone stirs up a reaction in Zoogz?
I did this once, barely a week or so ago, when I directly confronted him
on
his narcissism and reputation for quitting things. The reaction was an
unconvincing show of insecurity and self-glorification. He ended his
message
with a satisfying "What's the deal with you?". I let the fish off the
hook
after that one. I thought we might have a small respite from Zoogz
after
that. Unfortunately, that was not to be, because then came all that
irrelevant-to-wrestling-yet-conveniently-self-glorifying crap on the
British,
again from Zoogz.
-- I quickly ran into a phone cabin, ripped off my shirt to reveal a big
red
V, and flew to the scene.
Here, I called his bluff, got Zoogzie all riled up once again, and
forced him
to explain to everyone how he doesn't really mean it - yet, not a single
pat
on the back for me. If I was the type of person who'd start an
alt.fan.vizh
newsgroup (unlike some people), I'd be hurt by that lack of recognition
and a little disappointed.
Zoogz seemingly enjoys playing others for pinheads, as if for sport.
Should
we expect him to cry like this whenever someone comes and does it to
him?
I'm beginning to feel a little guilty here. But then, I don't think
Zoogzie
feels the same remorse when he's tearing into the "PINHEADS" who are
asking
him to keep his narcissistic bullshit out of RSPW.
Either that, or I fucking admire Zoogz, respect the laws of liquidity,
and
this is all one big farce!
The anticipation of not truly knowing is what makes it special.

The rest of the thread is good for a chuckle or two as well, but this
respects the main gist of it.
