I have to confess I'm a little ignorant about painting in oils. I guess
what has kept me away from it is that it seems more cumbersome to me -
turpentine and all that. What I like about Acrylics is that if you don't
like something you can paint over it right away... but the blends aren't as
nice.

I'll make a trip to the local art store this weekend! No offence taken,
I've been thinking of switching as I have been having troubles getting the
desired effect when I paint and thought a switch to oil might make the
difference.

as the only fitting place to hang anything i paint is on the refrigerator
door (what do you mean a helicopter? it's a vase of tulips!) i'm not really
qualified to comment, but that's never stopped me before. oils are
wonderfully expressive. i'd rather you blindfold me and let me feel an oil
painting than let me look but not touch. the picture is what the artists
thinks she is telling us but the texture is about the feelings and passions
she has put into her work.

Actually no. Either could be considered correct;Rebuttal Man's is phrased
in an active voice. . .where Ve's reversal is passive-voiced.

So it's a question of immediacy versus distance.

To be or Not To be.

The rules ain't what they used to be:)

Oops. Gotta go. The Easter Bunny just arrived.

Whether you could or would......depends on who the love is with?

No,if you grow weary of the person
let them go
but let the Love stay
It doesn't have to be a verb
nor always a noun
it should be a work in progress
but it helps to let it go
it doesn't have to be between people places or things
It needs to be embraced
but it helps to let it go
It can't be forced
but it doesn't come easily
You can study it all you like
and you'll still be a fool

What would be Rebuttal Man's "kryptonite" ?
Perhaps irrefutable statements?
Or unanswerable questions?
Hey Rebuttal Man,
What happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object?

WOW Jim!! What a lovely interpretation of the many aspects of love!! I
disagree with one part though.......you're definitely not a fool.
