Whatsa matta' with Ellen and Boomer?

Although I recognize that no one is actucally putting it down, it seems
to me that few people really enjoyed _Skinny Legs and All_. What is it that
people didn't enjoy about it? I mean Tom is Tom, and all the books are
wonderful, but Skinny is my favourite which seems to be a sentiment shared by
few.

Still Life broke my proverbial Robbins hymen, and so I though after it, I'd
read them chronologically.
Skinny Legs was my favourite particularily because of the seemingly anti-
climactic ending. The way that Ellen wandered around confused after the Dance,
and the fact that nothing really happened or changed was very eye opening for
me. What do the rest of you think?
