There are some terrific things on TV for Wednesday 10/14, so I had to
post them. I realize it's late for most of you, but I hope you'll get
a chance to read this in time.
ALL TIMES PACIFIC:
8:00 a.m. Cinemax "HOUSE ARREST" (1:50)
(From 1996. KYLE HOWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
9:00 a.m. AMC "WITNESS" (2:30)
(From 1985. LUKAS HAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!)
1:00 p.m. CBS "AS THE WORLD TURNS" (1:00)
(MICK HAZEN, as "Parker," has been VERY involved in storylines in
recent weeks and months. He will definitely be in today's episode, so
WATCH and ENJOY him while you still can!)
4:30 p.m. Nickelodeon "BRAINSURGE" (:30)
(Game show for kids. Sometimes quite watchable, sometimes not. I've
figured out how to watch the watchable ones in about 10-12 minutes or
so, and the not as watchable ones in about 4-5 minutes)
5:50 p.m. Showtime "THE KITE RUNNER" (2:10)
(From 2007. "After many years living in the U.S., and Afghan novelist
returns to his Taliban-controlled homeland to learn the fate of the
son of his murdered friend. Based on the novel by Khaled Hosseini.")
7:05 p.m. IFC "I AM DAVID" (1:35)
(Superb. Starring is BEN TIBBER!!!)
7:45 p.m. "WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE: HBO FIRST LOOK" (:15)
8:00 p.m. CBS "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE" (:30)
8:00 p.m. ABC "HANK" (:30)
(I can't stand Kelsey Grammer, but NATHAN GAMBLE is in the show. He
looks VERY different from what he looked like in "House" last season,
IMO, but in the one episode I watched of this new series, he's funny)
8:00 p.m. ABC Family "NANNY McPHEE" (2:00)
(From 2005. Co-starring is THOMAS SANGSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
8:30 p.m. CBS "GARY UNMARRIED" (:30)
(RYAN MALGARINI co-stars in this VERY FUNNY series)
8:30 p.m. ABC "THE MIDDLE" (:30)
(CHARLIE McDERMOTT and a "Dewey" kid)
9:00 p.m. ABC "MODERN FAMILY" (:30)
(A couple of kids in this show that's gotten a lot better press and
critics' attention than I think it deserves)
9:00 p.m. Fox "GLEE" (1:00)
9:00 p.m. Lifetime "GEORGIA RULE" (2:00)
(2 boys; included is a rather sexually interesting scene involving one
of them)

I forgot to mention that this show airs at this time MONDAY through
FRIDAY. :-)
