I am changing the ending of Star Wars to save the big space ship.

In the first Star Wars
Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi fly in
the Milennuim Falcoln to try to get to
Alderon.
But Alderon is first destroyed by the
Death Star.
They get caught and on board the Death
Star they help Princes Leigh escape.
After they leave the Death Star they
organize at a rebel base on a moon ..

and prevent it from being destroyed.

**** Alternate ending for traditional Star Wars ****
Starring Mark Paul Goesalar as Zack Morris.
Starring Max Battino as Mike.
Scene 1
Zack Morris and Mike are in the 4th grade at school.
they had found an Internet article about a shuttle
several weeks ago.

They saw an internet article about building a junk shuttle
so they build one in shop class.
Zack and Mike then wheel their space shuttle outside onto
the school field.
After school is over Friday afternoon Zack and Mike get
in their shuttle. Zack turns on the Pentium computer
in charge of the shuttle. Zack then starts his planned
flight program.
The shuttle takes off vertically to 500 feet. Then
horizontal acceleration at one gravity tilts the shuttle
at a 45 degree angle.
Then the computer turns on the inertial dampers causing
the flight to seem level. Then the computer screen
shows the gravities of acceleration number increase from
1 to 99.
Then a minute later in space the computer activates
the fold cyberspace field.
Folding cyberspace is much faster than traditional
quantum slipstream velocity.
Science fiction books about computers have proposed
folding cyberspace by executing many instructions
simultaniously and speculatively jumping and getting
many speculative results and then a short time later
choosing the right result. Even loops are unrolled
and the proposed computers might execute 100000
sequential instructions in only 17 clock cycles.
Real computers in 2005 can execute only two
in cache instructions per clock cycle. One on the
rising edge and the other on the falling edge of
the clock.
Scene 2
After an hour, the shuttle is back in normal space.
It is in a distant galaxy that is far away.
There is a large round spacecraft nearby. Many smaller
planes even smaller than Zacks shuttle are fighting the
big round space ship that is almost 100 miles in diameter.
the earlier script had called it the Death Star.
Zack then gets on the radio and calls the Millenium
Falcon.
ZACK MORRIS
Hans Solo this is ZACK MORRIS. The death star will
explode extremely soon and a much bigger explosion
than expected. Cancel your plans to help Luke get
access to the thermal exhaust port.
Zack Morris then flys his shuttle up against the
thermal exhaust port.
LUKE SKYWALKER
Get out of our way! we need to destroy that
imperial space ship.
ZACK MORRIS
No ! Return to your base on Yavvans moon right now!!
I myself am about to blow this ship up and I need you
to get away NOW so you will not be destroyed
in the blast.
THIS IS ZACK MORRIS. Evacuate the fleet. Get the fleet
AWAY FROM the Death Star. I will blow it up myself!!
LUKE SKYWALKER
This is Luke to fleet. Withdraw to twice a safe distance.
Then the vast swarm of tiny fighters fly away from
the Death Star at maximum speed.
Then ZACK MORRIS puts on a fake imperial uniform and
calls Governor Tarkin on board the Death Star on his
visiphone screen.
ZACK MORRIS
Governor Tarkin, This is general ZACK MORRIS. When Princess
Leia and Luke Skywalker escaped from your ship they left behind
a powerful bomb that will soon blow up your ship. Do you
see the rebel fighters flying away from your ship ?? They
just found out about Pricess Leias bomb.
Pretty please evacuate the Death Star now so you will not
be destroyed with it when the bomb explodes.
I am starting to withdraw my ship.
Then Zack Morris lifts his ship off of the Death Stars thermal
exhaust port.
Governor Tarkin:
I want everybody off of this ship NOW!! it is about to explode!
Then all of the Imperial storm troopers get in shuttles and
escape pods and fighter planes and everybody leaves the
Death Star.
Then Zack Morris flys his shuttle closer to the Death Star.
Many small craft are leaving the Death Star in a hurry. After
the small craft are gone Zack Morris manuvers the shuttle
to a tunnel and flys inside the Death Star.
Mike is concerned about the big space ship blowing up.
MIKE
Zack, we better get out of here! this ship is about to
explode! remember the bomb you told the rebel fleet
and Govenor Tarkin about ???
ZACK MORRIS
There never was any bomb. It was just a story I made up
to cancel the rebellion attack and pursuade Governor
Tarkin and the Imperial army to abandon this ship.
Mike, you are my best friend, I need you with me to keep
me company. This large round space ship is my space
ship now. I am President of this ship. You are
the vice president in charge of Data Processing.
Scene 3
Zack Morris ties his shuttle to a large pillar in the
center of the large round space ship and then Zack and
Mike each get out a couple of Pentium computers
and take them in to the control room of the
large space ship. Mike plugs the Pentium computers
into the sockets in the contol room the power sockets
and the network sockets.
Then Zack gets on one computer and Mike the other.
The screens on the pentiums soon show the status
of the Death Star.
Zack deactivates the weapons and puts them in deep
standby mode so that they will not fire
accidently.
Zack Morris then removes his fake imperial
uniform.
Zack then changes course away from Yavvan and its
moons.
Then a call comes in from the base on Yavvans moon. The base
commander wants to talk to Governor Tarkin.
ZACK MORRIS
This is my large round spacecraft now. Governor Tarkin
and his crew have abandoned it. I have deactivated the
weaponry and put it in deep standy mode. I have changed
the course away from your rebel base so I hope that
you realize that I am not a threat.
Princess leih comes to the base visiphone.
Then Princess Leih says that her orders were to
destroy the ship because no one can be trusted with
that much power.
Mike then cuts the transmission.
MIKE
Zack, we need to get out of here! the rebels might come
and destroy this ship!
ZACK
Mike, lets check the machine shop.
Then Zack and Mike find a large metal grill in
the machine shop and arc weld it accross the thermal
exhaust port so that rebel missles will no longer
be able to get to the main reactor through that port.
Zack and Mike return to the control room and probe the
ships database with their two Pentium computers.
The large round space ship origonally was built with
a 16 bit 80286 main computer.
Mike finds out that the ship is too large to put in
folded cyberspace with the program that the shuttle
had used. A 256 bit computer would have to be used to
get the large round spacecraft into high speed
folded cyberspace.
Zack says that he does not want to leave this large ship
behind to return to Earth in the shuttle. Zack asks about
alternatives to folding cyberspace for high speed flight.
Mike says that extended performance harmonic quantum
slipstram velocity can be used for fast flight. It is
not as fast as folding cyberspace but already existing
32-bit computers can handle it. It will take less than
ten years to get back to the Milky Way galaxy with
Earth's solar system. Possibly as short as four years.
Then Zack and Mike go to the machine shop and make
new projective deflector dishes and make them extra thick
for reinforcement.
Then in space suits they mount the defector dishes on
the large round space ship.
Mike programs the shuttle computer with an autopilot
program that also has the shuttle send data to the control
room.
The plan is to have the shuttle fly ahead of the large
space ship on autopilot to find any turbulence in the slipstream.
The shuttle flys about 500 miles in front of the big space ship
on Autopilot. Then Zack clicks on start slipstream on a Pentium
in the big ships control room with Mike on the other computer
in the control room.
The deflector dishes activate and the large space ship
with Zack and Mike follows the autopiloted shuttle by
about 500 miles first. Zack and Mike then check the
computers. The deflector dishes are stable. Both the
shuttle sensors and the sensors aboard the large round space
ship report a stable quantum slipstream. Then Zack and Mike
carefully guide the computers to choose a harmonic
quantum slipstream velocity for intergalacic flight.
The deflector dishes have to be tough to generate
a harmonic quantum slipstream arround the large
space ship.
It will take about four years to reach Earth orbit at the
current slipstream harmonic.
Zack and Mike then discuss Earth Politics.
ZACK MORRIS
My father was not able to help me get into college
the fall after high school because he was stuck with
compulsory jury duty. The long case with five dollars
a day prevented him from saving for my college
education.
MIKE
How come he did not throw away his summons or ask to be
excused from jury duty?
ZACK MORRIS
In California the Jury commissioner decided that compulsory
jury duty will be enforced and my father requested to be excused
but the excuse was denied because the one-day-plus-one-trial
law makes it harder to get excused.
MIKE
That is extremely unfair! Pretty please ask voters in California
and all of Earth to vote for an all volunteer jury system.
ZACK MORRIS
That sounds like a very good idea.
MIKE
Another problem is Earth computers do not have enough
bits. After 32 bits the companies have just made
faster and hotter 32 bit computers. Space flight
even at slow speeds can benefit from 256 bit integers
where each integer is 32 bytes instead of 32 bits
and floating point numbers are not precise enough
at 80 bits. At least 116 bits are needed in the
Mantissia so a 128 bit floating point unit or software
is needed for floating point arithmetic.
A lucky coincidence is that 256 bit integer
arithmetic can make the floating point programmed
calculations and Earths Microprocessor
factories can make microprocessors with 256
bit integers with current technology in 2005.
256 bit integers can also do the integer arithmetic
that most space ships require for reliable flight.
ZACK MORRIS
After just a few years this large round space ship
almost 100 miles in diameter
with us on board will arrive in Earth orbit. I hope
that every presidential candidate after George
Bush from both political parties will promise
to not reinstate a U.S. military draft as
long as they remain president.
I also hope that voters or the legislatures
in the states will change juries to all
volunteer juries with no more mandatory
jury summonses.
Some scriptwriter down on Earth has already
proposed voluntary juries instead of mandatory
jury duty at the link

I hope that Earth people realize that 32 bit computers
are obsolete like horses and buggies and even the
long promised 64-bit technoligy is not enough.
All computer users deserve 256 bit computers.

changed to save the large round space ship.
