Do you know if "duel of the fates" ever appeared on single, or only on
the TPM cd . . .

Don't worry about life, just live.
It's Sanskrit. Check out the AFS FAQ for more info.

Darth Ewok, Sith Lord and Defender of the Empire
There is no weakness; there is power.
There is no mercy; there is strength.
There is no compassion; there is ruthlessness.
There is no hope; there is the Dark Side.

Specifically John Williams is rehearsing the music prior to recording and
his first comment to the choir is on their pronuciation of "Chora." It was
along the lines of "...watch your dicton. I have chosen these sanskrit
words...." I can't remeber exactly what he said and I can't view it right
now.
If it wasn't inthere then it mus have been on one of the many documentaries
on TV

Great! Now I can't get DOTF out of my head -
wait, I guess that's not such a bad thing :)

"IF" I know what they mean? HA! You're talking to the MAN here - just
ask Kitchen God ;)
Seriously though, please accept my apologies. Sanskirt is what I
usually use speak in so I just assumed everyone would know right away .
. .
OK, now really seriously - John Williams used a passage from an old
Celtic poem entitled "CAD GODDEU" or (in English) "The Battle of the
Trees" He translated that into Sanskrit only because of the way the
language sounds when spoken. The exact passage used in DOFT reads:
"Under the tongue root a fight most dread, and another raging, behind,
in the head"
It is basically just repeated over and over.

Does anyone know the translation for the Sanskrit lyrics for Qui-Gon's
funeral?
After seeing TPM for the third time, I concluded that the first five
syllables for DOTF (Korah Ratamah), whispered, are Darth Maul's theme.
They played for all but two of his appearances as well as the first
appearance of Darth Sidious and for the probe droids. But the only
place it made it into on the soundtrack was "Qui-Gon's Noble End", in
the full version of DOTF, except whispered.
T'Bone said that the lyrics for the end celebration are the Emperor's
Theme sung high and
fast. He's right. Wonder what that means? Any theories?
