They do occasionally. In New Zealand we sometimes get them played over
subsequent weeks (I don't think Episode III has ever played on TV here yet
though), but not recently.

With the cinema re-releases in 3D underway, it could be that the TV
brodacast rights have been revoked for the moment. Episode I 3D was at the
start of this year, so the rights for that may restart in a couple of
years, or maybe even as part of the pre-release promotion for Episode II
3D at the start of next year.

TV networks / channels don't release their schedules that far in advance.
You'll need to keep checking your local listings. Here in New Zealand the
movie are sometimes played over consecutive weekends during the Christmas
/ summer period.

Of course, if you've got the VHS, laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray versions you can
play them whenever you want.
