Subject: My Episode 1 confession
I was watching Fanboys (which is good btw) and it reminded me of
this.  Well, a whole year before Episode 1 came out, I would dream
that I was watching it, but I didn't like the movie, and I was like
"This isn't right! Nooooooo!" and then I would wake up and say "It's
only a dream."  But then when I finally watched it, my dream came
true....but i tried to rationalize that I liked it, when deep down
inside, I was like "This isn't right."  It was deeply traumatizing and
I am still not over it.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???????????????

Thank you drive through.

Because all Star Wars fans wanted it for more than 20 years.

In that time the mind wanders (especially in an active mind) and you
think of what would be cool, etc... so what is done plot wise, scene
wise etc. has to compete with all the possible brainstorms you had....
plus all the info that was out from the Star Wars Roleplaying game,
the Star Wars novels by Zahn and the other writers, etc.So the
anticipation builds scenarios in the mind, and there's that as well as
the actual Trilogy and prequels and Special Editions and everything
else, all running around in one's mind.

I have to say Episode 1 was actually quite boring. :)

I always thought Episode 2 was the boring one. It filled in a lot of
holes to bridge 1 and 3, but until the end, it was just rather dull.
Maybe it wasn't as good at engrossing the audience into the storyline? I
dunno. Felt more like 5 movies cut and spliced.

Episode 4 was pretty stinky too. Toshi station power converters? Gay
robots? Hooded midget chitterers? Breakfast pastry hairstyles? WTF?

When Academy Award-winning actor Sir Alec Guinness said that Star Wars
was "bloody awful" and "banal" he wasn't kidding!

The pod race was not boring and well the fight with Darth Maul was
good.

The silly CGI battle in Naboo and the gungans(Disney-like characters)
ruined the movie for me.
