As usual, the TV showed some of the wealthy famous people attending
the season's first F1 race, down in the land of the kangaroo and the
billabong. The camera showed several popular musicians, but none of
the boys from Spinal Tap were there. Or were they just backstage
dealing with the deli platters?

The backstage arrangements were shocking. So much so, I turned down my
VIP invite & just bought regular grandstand tickets. Mind you, I met
Glen Miller in the beer tent. For some reason he spent the whole time
looking for the way out. Strange man.

If you're already IN the beer tent, why in the world would you want to
leave?

Don't know. He was muttering something about having to go catch a
plane tho.
