I for one don't, since he, afterall, isn't your cousin.
These horrible little, imagination-less lamers are
just sprouting like unwelcome weeds, aren't they?
Go back to school, and get an education, as well
as a respect and understanding of the arts. Unless
you enjoy being an oblivious idiot with a horribly
annoying character. I don't even want to hear the
sorry excuse of a story that you'll try to give. What,
Robotnik burned down your city and you became
an orphan? You're in line to be a Guardian, or are
the total opposite and absolutely hate them?
Whatever, the character itself is a pathetic one
anyway.

I've met some great people whose characters are
related to mainstream ones, and a prime example
of this is Shades, who takes great pride in his
mission to eternally worship waffles. That's Knux's
cousin, you sorry shit stain.

Naturally, someone will respond to me, scolding
me, but as I said before, I'm well aware of the fact
that I'm mercilessly flaming. There isn't a need to
'correct' me if I know what this is. What I'll never

it an original one, even if that means they can't
interact with the main characters. There are a lot
of powergaming pricks who entirely ignore Sonic,
and they are just as worthless and potentially
evil.

I've got a better idea. Why don't I skin you, taking
great care to leave you alive, and then burn your
own hair and chunks of skin before force-feeding
it to you? After you've dealt with that embarassing
and distasteful agony, I'd slice up your muscles
with a letter opener and pour salt mixed with a
mild acid onto them. Then I'd gouge your eyes
out with a melon spoon, and tie your rotting body
to a flag pole high above the ground on a sky-
scraper, letting you hang while you die. Sounds
fun, doesn't it? No? Aww.

*Ahem* If you knew, this person is from a chatroom called Miss Sonic's Chat.
Prehaps you have heard of it. Most of the people there talk in this manner,
just because it is the "Cool" way to talk. if it is, in your opinion, "Uncool"
than this person instantly gets labled "annoying prick", when in this person's
young, immature mind, this is the way one talks. I'm sorry if your "Grown up"
and "Mature" mind cannot remember the way YOU were at this age, impressionable
and wanting to be "in".

That was alot of quotation marks.

Ahhh, Razzy once again assumes that anything less than her "Grown up" and
"Mature" attitude is uncool. Look, Raz, have a little imagination. Miss Sonic's
Chat is a RP chatroom, and one must create an appropriate Avitar for said chat.
Somtimes this avitar is rather dull, and rather unflavorful, but that is just a
sign of the overall youth of this indivudual. Do you expect a six-year-old to
understand and enjoy Shakespear? No. Of corse not. Yet, you seemingly think
that every single person online can think of a very original character with
little/no effort whatsoever. You just have to get it into your head that not
everyone is going to have the same detailed and advanced character as you. You
have to learn that some of the Sonic fans that you meet have quite literally
grown up with Sonic, and you cannot expect them to have a character as
interesting and as good as somone who is in or has just finished collage.

I see, we've reached the point in the tipical Raz post where she begins
insults. Like I've already said, these people are very young! They are not
going to have the same advanced and interesting characters as you!

>Naturally, someone will respond to me, scolding

*Sigh* Raz, you DO realise that most of these people are from 13 to 8 years
old, don't you? These insipid and worthless creatons are about the best that
these people can do. Mach Hedgehog started out as Sonic's brother, twin
brother, cousin, best friend, friend, etc. And STILL after a good 6 or so years
of tweaking, he still needs work. Personal grudge? What happened, did one of
these immature characters kill your father? Unless somthing like that DID
happen, you have no real reason to say any of this. Heh, alot of these people
ARE powergamers, but that's because they don't know better. Most are around the
age of 10 or 11, and they don't know how to properly RP, giving the other
member a fighting chance and never oversteping his boundries.

Gee, Raz, you're a very compassionate individual, aren't you? Frankly, that did
not sound very mature and grown up, it sounded more like what a insipid and
worthless creator of one of those insipid and worthless creatons would say.
Immature, discusting, and overall not the kind of thing expected of a Collage
student. But, I suppose those that still allow themselves to be tortured in
silly a silly little event called "Initation" just so that person can sit
around and guzzle beers at a Fraterity/sorority house with peers IS very
mature. Wait till you're older, much more mature, and you'll see things my way,

As I said, if they're going to talk that way,
they need to do it right, or be a worthy
person of such speech. Another friend of
mine who you've undoubtedly heard of is
Azy, although I don't like referring to her
as if she were one of those famous pricks.
She's well known, but she's a kick ass

>I'm sorry if your "Grown up" and "Mature"

I'll honestly and rightfully say that I wasn't
one of those kids, and not all children are.
You've just basically said that you believe
all people, while young, will do almost any-
thing to become popular. It's a person's
shining individuality that makes them a
worthwhile friend or ally, not their ability
to blindly follow and mimic what they see.
I was definitely a loner for the majority of
my public schooling, although when High
School came around, I'd made some friends
who I spoke to often. I'm basically one of the
'darker' ones who doesn't set out to make
friends, and prefers to do nothing other than
being suspiciously quiet.

Also, how I'm typing here is how I speak
when I'm angry, but want to carry it out in
a way other than cursing in every sentence.
I honestly am not like this in real life, but
don't wish to share my personality with
people who are worthless.

[snip]

>Ahhh, Razzy once again assumes that
>anything less than her "Grown up" and
>"Mature" attitude is uncool.

No, I -know- that many of the respectable
people who subscribe to this Newsgroup
don't wish to hear the babblings of some
moron. I don't care if people talk in 'cute-
speak' if they're good at it, nor do I care
as long as they're good people. Those
who make pointless and irritating posts
like the one above, revealing their inability
to positively contribute to -anything-, are
the kind of people who shouldn't be given
access to a computer.

Also, age doesn't matter when it comes to
certain aspects of maturity. The person's
want to be accepted for estimable reason
is what determines how mature they are.
However, when someone 'flaunts' character
family traits pointlessly like this, it goes to
show that they're openly immature. That
post was not only made by an absent-
minded little lamer, but it also had no
point in being here. It contributed nothing,
and did little in the ways of earning that
creaton a good reputation.

>Yet, you seemingly think that every single
>person online can think of a very original
>character with little/no effort whatsoever.

No, I believe that many of the people online
could possibly develop their own original
character, with a sketchy outline of details
at first. Developments take time and effort,
which are a couple of things that some of
these things would rather ignore. You can't
even start working on something if you haven't
established it's base, and can't expect to
build on top of a foundationless spot with-
out running the risk of watching it all crumble
one day.

>You just have to get it into your head that not
>everyone is going to have the same detailed
>and advanced character as you.

Don't you dare, EVER, say anything like that
again in response to me, runt. What I've worked
on has sentimental meaning, and I take opinions
-much- more personally than most people do.
I don't consider my characters or writings 'brilliant,'
as you probably think. That's why hardly anyone
has ever seen any of my stories, or drawings, or
any of that. I don't show it to the world, because
I don't want to flaunt, or be envied, complimented
or horribly insulted. I hate egotisim and refuse to
ever let it conquer me. If people want to see any-
thing I've done, then let them ask me one day, if
they're curious. I won't force them to deal with it
by advertising it everywhere or even publically
speaking about any of it.

>You have to learn that some of the Sonic fans
>that you meet have quite literally grown up with
>Sonic,

As I have. I remember playing the original Sonic
game on a Core System, back in 1991. I'm six-
teen now, and was nine then. You still think you
can say that I haven't grown up with Sonic as
well? Why do you think I'm so overly protective
of the fandom, even if, at times, my loyalty isn't
appreciated? I don't want to be thanked, but I
want to be understood. I make it a point to fight
against any people who willingly fling crap about,
and then vehemently defend it, giving no points
or reasons, just screaming. If someone earns
the right to be respected, then I'll give them
that respect.

Still think I'm against anyone who's characters
(not necessarily their storylines) could be thought
of as 'unimaginative'? Sometimes, the personalities
of the creators make up for this. A few more ex-
amples, Warp, David Bulmer, and Sonikku. I'm
not sure as to whether I should include Gen or
not.. they're all worthwhile people who have very
distinct personalities, which cause them to be
loved or hated. -That's- what makes a person,
-that's- what makes their character worthwhile,
-that's- what goes to show where respect should
be given.

[snip]

>I see, we've reached the point in the tipical Raz
>post where she begins insults. Like I've already
>said, these people are very young!

So what? Shades is young, and creative, as well
as open and fun to be around. Personality and
respect are the things that make a person, not
age. Besides that, if anything, that's an absolutely
horrible thing to say. Many of the youths in this
world today are in fact very smart, wittily so.

>They are not going to have the same advanced
>and interesting characters as you!

I don't believe that age can ever be used as an
'excuse' for creativity. I'm sure that there's a kid
out there somewhere who's already thought up
ideas for the world's next highly-acclaimed novel.
The spark can be there at any time.

[snip]

>*Sigh* Raz, you DO realise that most of these
>people are from 13 to 8 years old, don't you?
>These insipid and worthless creatons are about

I'll never believe that. As I've previously explained
more than once, age isn't a factor when it comes
to how one uses their mind. It's their will to show
their desire for imagintivity, or to let others see
their love of fun.. to show their -personality-. Truly
shallow and careless people can be twelve or
twenty, five or fifty. Innocence is something which
most children have.. not stupidity.

>Personal grudge? What happened, did one of
>these immature characters kill your father?
>Unless somthing like that DID happen, you have
>no real reason to say any of this.

You've made the same mistake others have, and
that's trying to guess at and delve into personal
matters. I have justifyable reason, which doesn't
need to be publically announced.

>Heh, alot of these people ARE powergamers,
>but that's because they don't know better. Most
>are around the age of 10 or 11, and they don't

Because they either don't believe that they need
to change their RolePlaying methods, or angrily
scream at and shun anyone who tries to help
them. Those who can improve do, but also
admit that they're working on getting better,
instead of jumping to yell and make complete
fools of themselves.

[snip]

>Gee, Raz, you're a very compassionate
>individual, aren't you?

No. Didn't expect a serious answer to your attempt
at sarcasam, did you?

[snip]

>Immature, discusting, and overall not the kind
>of thing expected of a Collage student.

This whole post has shown me one thing. You
do judge people, no matter what you say. If not
by their race or religion, then by their age, or
academic status. Judgemental people are, at
times, as horrible as openly prejudice assholes.

>But, I suppose those that still allow themselves
>to be tortured in silly a silly little event called
>"Initation" just so that person can sit around and
>guzzle beers at a Fraterity/sorority house with
>peers IS very mature.

What are you, an overly sheltered child straight
out of a sickening sitcom who goes without
hesitance to Church every Sunday, and comes
home, striving to please the world and sailing
through school with flying colors? Do your
parents proudly slap Honor Student bumper
stickers on their car? You obviously fit at least
one of those assumptions, since you're a very
close-minded child, highly judgemental and
even partially prejudice. It's living an actual
life, and not taking just what's given to you,
that gives you the right and knowledge to be
more open and worth listening to.

>Wait till you're older, much more mature, and
>you'll see things my way,

Why, because you've deemed yourself to be as
mature as one could possibly get? You responded
to my flame when I blatantly made it -clear- that
I fully understood what I was doing. Also, I don't
drink beer, little boy. I've never smoked a cigar-
ette, or taken any form of illegal drugs. All you've
shown is that you go by stereotypical standards,
judging (groups of) people by what you've heard
of their kind, instead of bothering to learn any
more about them yourself.

>that is, if you want to get a nice job without getting
>fired right after you bad-mouth the boss's weight
>problem.

I've already got a job, if you haven't noticed. I'm
respected there, and hardly ever even talk, other
than when it's required. I do my job as it should
be done, earning my pay and keeping others
happy. I would, however, drop my job in a heart
beat if it ever forced me to deal with prejudicial
people, treating them as if their views are totally
fine.

I don't think Missy is famous because of what she did, but
rather because of her commitment. I know her because she was always
there, welcoming newcomers, etc. I don't remember seeing her use that
irritating cute-speak, but then I might have missed it. But you must
admit, she was comitted to the Sonic Chat Room, to the point of being

I agree on this one. It works on some people, it doesn't on
others. Some people are able to fluently flow through the "Kawaii-talk",
whereas others can be seen to struggle. If you have to struggle, why
bother?

For instance - Omni. Now we all know how useless and newbieish
Omni Echidna has been over the years. He started out as Omni-Viewer in
what was then the Sonic Chat Room, then he became an Echidna on the say-
so of another user, then his personality started to change and soon he
was myself, but exaggerated. He then starred in The End Of Mobius, in
the days before I figured out what in-character writing was, and he was
awful in it. Since then he has developed further and is now an
acceptable character, although nobody actually knows that yet as he
hasn't been used since the dreaded EOM. (As you can tell, my attitudes
towards that Fanfic have changed drastically since writing it. Simply
put, I hate it now. *B^D) It took Omni over a year to develop, and I
doubt, if I continue to use the character (although this probably won't
be the case once the Sonic Ideal graphic novels are finished), that he
will remain the same as he is now.

Why does it seem like every other post you're saying something like this? No
offense intended, but you seem to be a little trigger-happy with the
flamethrower. Even if it is one of your pet peeves, why can't you just try
letting the person know that this sort of thing is frowned upon, before
threatening force-feeding them their well-done external organs? I mean, I like
an original death/torture threat as much as the next person (I'm not so good at
thinking them up, unfortunately--the best I've been able to do is tieing their
intestines with alcohol-soaked barbed wire to a large hydrogen balloon and
letting it carry them into the atmosphere until I launch an incendiary (sp?)
rocket at it... what was I talking about again? Oh yeah...

Yes, he should have lurked for a while to find out what's acceptable and what's
not. I guess that if you think not lurking is a flammable offense, then
there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.

And how does you knowing that you're flaming mean that people aren't supposed
to try and talk you out of it?

Mach, you can't bring Princess Di back. So get over it...

I can design an original character very easily, Mach. I can do the
same for a vehicle in 5 mintues and it would be Star Wars worthy.
Creativity is nothing but the expression of the soul into a given object.

It's just the ability to focus it and channel it that's the challange. I'm
suprised since Raz is always so angry that she's even able to draw
well. I can draw at all when in a bad mood.

Here's my idea for a character:

Axel: He's Rotor's older brother, and shares rotor's love for machinery.

That's a very short summary. I've got to get ready for school. Anybody
feel free to add anything!

Duh. That took a lot of thinking. You just took Rotor & gave him a
different name.

Very well.

Axel: He's Rotor's older brother, and shares rotor's love for machinery. He
grew up in the frozen north tundra, and when his mother and rotor visited
Mobotropolis he stayed behind, never liking travel very much. after two weeks,
he too traveled down too, wondering where his mother was. He found a
Mobotropolis being rapidly turned into Robotropolis, and he was nearly
captured. later, he happened apon the southern freedom fighters, and later
joined.

Boy, I love being home schooled.

Argh, did I ever say you did? No. That was the overall steriotype of collage
students. That and the letter saying "Send money". Do you think that I think
that that's every single student? No. That would be overly stupid. Do I think
that's the majority of students? Prehaps. It depends on the Collage. It's just
that Humans in general are very prone to be in a group. If you start a club,
people will join. Look at Moose, or Boy Scouts. It's that exact thing. No
different for Collage students.

Eh, I and others have tried, although all of
our efforts gained us nothing. SONICFAN
seems to, unfortunately, be here to stay.
Thus, he'll successfully attract more of
his traumatizing breed, and spawn many
a poorly written MiST. Mind you, not -all-
of the MiSTs and 'MiST'ings are terrible..
but the lot of 'em are.

Actually, as it was clearly stated, I'd assumed how
you really are, and going by your very response, I'd
say that I hit the nail right on the head. Prejudice is
when someone judges another before learning any-
thing about them, or judges them by what they are
taught or demeaning words that they hear. Usually,
when this is all soaked up and believed, prejudice is
what the listener becomes.

Being judgemental is, in many aspects, different.
Going by the words themselves alone, it's obvious
that prejudice and judgement have something to do
with one another. Their true definitions differ, how-
ever.

Prejudice has come to have another definition
amongst the world today, and it's basically hate.
There are indeed times when prejudice has fully
developed into hatred, but it is not always that.
Sometimes, it is a form of ignorance forced on
a child or person by a force which they believe
in, or look up to. Other times, it's inspired by a
growing lust for revenge, triggered by some sort
of embarassment or loss.

So, in conclusion, I wouldn't call myself being
hypocritical on this matter.. simply making
some educated guesses, and learning that
most of them were right. Not all, but enough to
safely call some formerly unclear things fact.

Actually, yes, or at least, you very strongly implied
it. I'll re-quote the segment in which you did so.

>That was the overall steriotype of collage students.

What made you think that I would fit that stereo-
type? Again, be sure to have enough knowledge
to back up things you claim. If you want to make
it seem as if I fit that exaggerated description,
then I'd like to hear you give a few examples on
how I fit it. I made it clear, in response, that I do
not drink or even party. I don't have any desire
to, and have decided strongly against socializing
with any other college students, unless they're
considerably older than me.

>That and the letter saying "Send money". Do
>you think that I think that that's every single
>student? No. That would be overly stupid.

It's just as 'stupid' to assume unless you've been
in an actual -worthwhile- college environment long
enough to assume so. I actually think you would
be far better off if you said that young adults fit
that stereotype very well.. they do. Lots of kids
who have finally broken the legal drinking limit go
out and have a good time, either slinging them-
selves head-first into an unsuccessful life, or
later realizing that they'd had their fun, and now
was the time to pick up the pieces and move on.
It isn't just College kids who make those kind of
mistakes.. but they get the most attention, since
they're supposed to be 'better' than the others who
decided not to go to College. More is expected of
them, just as more is expected of gifted children.
It's a very unfair world, eh?

>Look at Moose, or Boy Scouts. It's that exact
>thing.

That may be an example of a group, but I wouldn't
necessarily call it a valid addition to an arguement
about stereotypical views. As a matter of fact, only
-recently-, a legal case had come up, against the
Boy Scouts. Why? They'd fired a fully homosexual
counselor, for that reason alone, and even said so
when they were taken into court. What was their
reason for this? "We teach family values, not homo-
sexuality." Truly, prejudice at it's finest.. and some-
thing which they got slammed down for. As long as
the counselor had no sick intentions and never did
push his preferences onto the children (which he
didn't do), he had done them no wrong. It's like
that Pee Wee Herman story.. there are many, many
variations of the tale, but the majority of them claim
that he was spotted watching a porn movie of some
sort.. some even say he was, what, jacking off in
the theater? Naturally, that's going to be taken as
a sick act, I wouldn't blame them for -that-. But did
he really deserve to be stripped of his job, just for
doing what thousands of people do in private each
day? I don't really think so. As long as it's not put
on children's programming, it's his life.

[snip]

There's a difference between insensitivity and good
modesty. If you're so willing to please, you should
listen more to the criticisims which you recieve in
public, be them mindless bashing or intellectually
expressed opinions. As pointless as bashing may
seem to some, at times, it brings up points.. for
instance, one thing may be bashed in paticular.
You don't have to abandon it, but why not take
a look at it, and see if it really can be improved?
Simple as this saying goes, it's always been true..
"You live, you learn."

And if anyone starts imitating Alanis Morisette,
let me just say.. no.

I'm getting a bit uncomfortably deep into discussion
here.. to get moreso back on topic, I'd like to close
this response with another comment. Why didn't the
'Guardian' who the original post was aimed at res-
pond? I don't know, perhaps they've heard ugly little
rumors about me on AoL or something or other..
hmm. Well, if they ever actually read this, I'd love
to hear their defense. Kite-ti or something, was it?
